T8 and all,One established fact is that there was no death or sickness before Adam and Eve fell from grace since the world was not subject to frustration until that event occurred.Another fact is that plants, or at least parts of them, were devoured and so perished.I see no evidence that plant have souls though both animals and humans are said to.
