Reason can only detect breaks in a doctrine. The Spirit is necessary to determine which doctrine that is not broken is the true doctrine and it is necessary to have faith in the truth.

A broken doctrine is either incomplete or it is false. An incomplete doctrine is false until it is made whole.

They use the word changed just like 1 Corinthians 15:52 does and Paul is not contradicting himself. He was just saying the same thing in too different ways. Even you will admit that “imperishable must be put over the perishable” is no longer imperishable but had instead changed just like translators of those two versions interpreted the message.

Perhaps Jesus was saying that the the kingdom of heaven is composed of all believers, even those whose belief will prove false on that day, in the parable of the net. That could also explain the fact that Israel is called the kingdom of the Lord. The kingdom of heaven could therefore be the body of Christ.
