Why do you call God, Allah? Allah is just say the God in Arabic, like Arabic is the holy language. It is the similar calling the chief son of David Jesus as Jesus is the Koine Greek translation of Hebrew Yehoshua and the Arabic Yeshua.

The Koine Greeks did not use pronouns as we do. That nouns had gender as did their pronouns. Translating them to English and disagreements between experts are common. For example:

As Nick correctly points out Scripture does not claim Jesus was always the word of God. Instead it states the Word became flesh and teaches us the origins of Jesus Christ by tracing his ancestry, according to the flesh back to Adam, who it then calls the son of God.

T8 does change the words of John 1:1 but then so do you since it does not have the either Jesus or the word Christ. Instead it is talking about the Word of God; the same Word that comes out of God’s mouth. It is clear you do not want to believe what it says as you have not tested what you have been told by men.

Please! I may not be an English expert but I am well aware that a person is not their own father. If Jesus wanted to say what you claim he did then his words would be “I am ascending to myself, who is your Father and God.” Instead he made it clear God is his Father and the Father of those that believe in him.

I also hold the Koran to be a false teaching as it does not agree with the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is but one false teaching of many. It does not teach a person what they need to know to overcome their sins but then neither does Ed’ teaching or those of many others.

The alah #423 means oath which is a curse in some contexts. There is another alah at #422 that means take and yet another one at 5929 that means went. There may be more.
