There is symbolism in numbers but do not let numbers become an obsession as Jesus did not. They were 12 apostles and that symbolized the twelve tribes of Israel. Jesus symbolized the Levites.

I have doubts there is a number code in Scripture though there is clearly numerical symbolism.

I am going by Matthew 5:9 and it does not specify that in that particular passage. In the way we use the word peacemaker it only fits Jesus Christ in the more in its most optimal form. God is one of the parties so is not considered the intercessor.

To a lesser extent it fits those who spread the gospel to those at war with God.
