When my husband and I were married I was not a Christian and he was, but only just. He gave his life to the Lord 1 week before we said “I do”” He suddenly changed on me, all of a sudden I was the bad guy and so the war began..
I'm telling you this because I was where your friend may be at the moment so be patient. I think sometimes when a situation looks hopeless because it is not going the way we want it to, we have to be sure we're not asking God for what WE want. There are many who testify to how God changed their partner, when all that they had done failed. My husband is one of them.
All things are possible for God…4 years of my husband trying to make me see, 30secs for God to do it.

And yes what she said, 4 years for man and 30 seconds for God…there are parallels in the Bible, with Johna, three days in the whale, the Jews 40 years in the desert….

What is needed is faith, I pray it be more abundant with thee…
Faith that can walk on water, move mountains…have ye?If you do, greater things will you do than HE did, and this is but a small thing for the Lord, indeed on person.
He hears the desires of your heart and it is His that none should perish, so stand in his word and move forward with this.If not all you need is to ask and it shall be given unto thee, faith that is, and an abundance of it.
Do not pray about this more than once, unless you want to be a broken record to God, but pray once in Spirit and in Truth and stand on His word and His will be done, walk in faith and look not to the raging waves before you, there can be a long and trying road ahead but you need to keep your eyes focused on Him and Trust Him and you will get to the other side.

Great advice Laurel,to add to that momentum…
I agree he/she needs to come to these ones…in Spirit and in Truth…and speak Truth into their lives, with Love.
You love them, and there is no greater love than he who is willing to lay his live down for his friends/family…
Are you ready to lay yours down? despite the ridicule you may encounter? the rejection?
The Lord says to fear Him, not what man can do to you, so I will pray for you to have courage and strength to confront them and for His word to be with you…
And yes it is a confrontation, not a battle of flesh and blood but one of spirits.
He will show you who has ear to hear, and give you what is needed to be said within the hour that it will be spoke (sometimes within the second! lol) when it is His Spirit doing the convicting work, the yoke is light, and New beings are born.
