Kerwin……desires and wills are certainly linked, without a desire there would be no will and in that case the will would be truly free, but no such case exists in man. IMO
Still waiting for T8 TO RESPOND TO THE SCRIPTURES I ASK HIM TO READ AND THIS TIME STUDY THEM. Iwould good for all involved in this descusion to really read the and see how they fit in with free will teachings. In the final end it all boils down to who is the truly SOVERIGN ONE, MAN OR GOD.IMO

Maybe your explanation was not well understood.
God created all things by his will; and made all things work in harmony according His will.
God created man in His image, therefore He gave them free will. Just as God has free will.
God knows in advance who will, and who will not follow his commandments. God uses the wicked to do the wicked work,
And the good to do His good work.
Just as God uses the wicked Judas to betray the Son of God.
Judas chose to be wicked from the beginning. And God used him to do the wicked job.
Each person has free will, but God chooses them to do a certain job according to His will.
To say that God is in control of even our wicked works, only give us an excuse to be freed from our whicked ways.
That we are not guilty of any wrong doings.
Because God made us do it.
God uses us to do his will, and chooses us as He wills, for the good.
God also uses lucifer to do the wicked works for God’s will.
Lucifer is the hammer; but God is holding that hammer in his hand. isa. 10.
