as I warned others Nick, do not misrepresent my beliefs, for I believe that Jesus was a man. It just so happens that I take ALL of the Scripture for what it says, and it also says, as you have already admitted, that Jesus is God. I know you can't quite come to terms with that yet Nick… but the Lord is woirking on you… breaking down the…[Read more]

You know Robyn, it is very interesting to see a conservative Romanist like yourself. Given the deep divisions with Rome, with so many disagreeing with one another so vehemently on all sorts of issues, Mary being co redemptrix, papal infallibility (which, for all practical purposes has been rejected by many), birth control, charismatic Romanists,…[Read more]

Robyn, can you provide one singe Scripture that says Mary was free from sin? If she was really free from all sin, why did she need a savior? David, you are mistaken in thinking that Mary was only mentioned in Scripture at the birth story…. Acts 1:14 These all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer, along with {the} women,…[Read more]

Robyn, something you need to know about the history of your own church: Rome never officially canonized the Apocrypha until the Council of Trent in the 1500’s ….. so much then, for the never changing Roman Churchsecondly, don't get too upset by strong language directed towards the declaration of apostasy for Rome… after all, they make it q…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Aug. 07 2006,23:19)Hi E, Can you not abide in the Word and yet claim you are following the Master? You first have to isolate a particular tradition and then examine it on it's own merits to decide whether or not it is biblical. That is to say, it is illogical to say that simply because some activity or some belief in a given…[Read more]

Of course the word 'Rapture' does not appear in scripture but it is applied to an event that is clearly shown in the New Testament. eg 1 Cor 15.52f1 Thess 4.13fJn 11.25-6Who can add?ohhh… I see…. its just fine to believe in…[Read more]

Oxy …. the Trinity doctrine does not say that “all three aspects of God (are) lumped together”…. God's being is simple, undivided… perhaps this will be helpful to you….I. (2 Cor 13:5 NASB) Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you– unless indeed you fail the test?

Perhaps too many have been watching Star Wars??? 😉 If the Holy Spirit can be lied to or grieved, common sense says that thew Holy Spirit must be a person…..blessings
