    I see this arrangement as working out for everyone. You still get to shoot fiery arrows at members here, but in an appropriate section of the site, that is, each members own wall. This is the perfect place to accuse and it doesn’t disrupt the topics and helps them stay on subject and you are addressing each member d…[Read more]

    You constantly use private interpretation and expect us to believe you.

    @EdJ
    You still are subject to human logic and insist it rules over heavenly wisdom.
    “NOW the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is there is liberty.”
    The sharing of the Spirit in Christ with his brothers is not his return. He was in heaven at the time.

    God was in him from the Jordan.
    And God gave him life again.

      Here is actually what it says Nick:
      “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself” (2 Cor 5:19)
      Get that: “God was in Christ” – meaning…
      The spirit of Christ *IS* Jesus
      The “HoySpirit is God

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      You would have it instead say
      “the spirit of Christ was in Jesus, reconciling the world unto himself”
      WRONG!

      Spirit of the Father – HolySpirit
      Spirit of the Son – Jesus’ spirit

    What about it @EdJ

    @EdJ
    The vanity of man knows no limits.
    Better to fear God.

    @EdJ
    Realise that everything in the new creation is of God. Flesh cannot enter and all live by the Holy Spirit.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Jesus speaks of the second death just as he did when he said some standing with him would never die,

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Jesus prayed that those reborn into the Spirit will share hiscommunion with the Father.

    @EdJ if you have been baptised into Jesus Christ you have already died.
    If you live in the Spirit you have eternal life.

      if you have been baptised into Jesus Christ you have already died. Agreed
      he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: <– yes water baptized
      And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. <– not water baptized
      John 11:25-26 (KJV)

    @EdJ Are you expecting your spirit to be one with the Holy Spirit?
    Sorry but as with Jesus your spirit will leave and return to God at death(ecc12)
    That is why we must find the river of eternal life before we die.
    We must pass over from death to life while we yet live.
    “Those who live and believe in me will never die.”

      Are you expecting your spirit to be one with the Holy Spirit?
      Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; 21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us
      John 17:20-21 (KJV)

    Your basis is human wisdom and you need to find divine wisdom.
    When the Morning Star arises in your heart he will lead you to all truth.
    Back off, dumb down and let God teach you.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ
    The Holy Spirit in Jesus spoke frequently of the relationship.
    Why do you not listen?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ
    Why can you not grasp the spiritual communion between the Father and the Son and those in the Son?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    If only it wasn’t just your private interpretation of Micah 5.2 it would be worth looking into.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    If the word was not prophetic
    Logic would rule and you would be right.
    First establish your understanding of Micah 5.2 by witnesses.

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      There is always a day when the prophetic word is fulfilled.
      Luke 2:11 (this day) is the fulfillment of prophetic word given in Micah 5:2
      Certainly you do not deny this; do you?

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    The words are easy.
    Understanding them sometimes takes a bit longer.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Yes the Messiah was known from prophecy to be a son of David.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Micah 5.2 is not written for private interpretation.
    Your opinions are strong but wasted in proving what you are so sure about.

  • Profile picture of NickHassan

    @EdJ Hi Ed,
    Yes the prophetic word says that.
    Can you grasp prophecy?

    • Profile picture of Ed J

      Can you grasp the meaning of this verse?
      And he said unto them, How say they that Christ is David’s son? (Luke 20:41)
      Micah 5:2 explains the origin of Christ’s Spirit – but you know better than Jesus, right?
