Hi All,
The mind of Christ had only the spirit of God in his heart and mind, not a human spirit. The Messiah, a human, was the son of God from birth.
Hi TruthComber,
Are you saying Christ was not born with the spirit of Christ – as his own spirit?

People seem to lose sight of the implications of their words…
For example:
If someone says “Jesus is God”
That implies that God did not exist outside of Jesus while Jesus walked the earth.
And we know that is not true, because there are a lot of Scriptural accounts
that say that God did exist outside of Jesus as well as inside of JesusIt…[Read more]

Hi TruthComber, you said…
The spirit of Christ is the spirit of God after Christ existed.
Thus my question…
Are you suggesting that the HolySpirit that descended on Christ
at the Jordan river was (according to you) not the Spirit of God?psst, by the way asking questions for clarification is not an accusation
____________
Thank you

Hi Gene
We where talking alittle about the seventy weeks of Daniel. I read this book awhile ago I thought it was a good study one of the best I found.
Hi Anthony, looks like you never found this video…
Here a video that accurately explains the 70 weeks of Daniel:

Hi Edj
I believe all good except 2.
Roman 8:9 (a) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. (b) Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
Me: Verse 9b is a continuation of thought from 8b. The spirit of Christ is the spirit of God after Christ existed.

Hi All,
When did Christ Come back to the apostles?
Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Me:…

T8…O REALLY, then why did he recieve the holy spirit later at the Jordan, it decended down on him as a dove and abided on him.
Hi Gene,
To fulfill the name “Immanuel” that was given to Christ, which means “God with us”.
“The Word” became flesh and dwelt among us – this happened at Jordan (John 1:14)____________

Hi Guys,
Even if you attempt to water Micah 5:2 down
to ‘GOING FROM WAY BACK’ instead of from eternity,
You are still left with ‘FROM WAY BACK’ to “BETHLEHEM”;
not ‘FROM WAY BACK’ to ‘Jordan’ like you two keep peddling. Why can’t you just address this inconsistency in your doctrine ???
Saying he was predicting Christ doesn’t not nullify my…[Read more]Ed J replied to the topic in the forum Preexistence 7 years, 6 months ago
Hi Nick and Gene,
Micah 5:2 is clearly makes two points:
1. the spirit of Christ was with Jesus at his birth IN BETHLEHEM.
………..– and –
2. the spirit of Christ preexisted Jesus birthHi Ed,
No Micah 5.2 does not say either of those things.
You must have added your ideas.
Hi Nick it sure does, look at it again:

Nick and Gene both,
I’m not trying to convince you of anything.
I’m simply showing you verses that don’t support your theory…
that the spirit of Christ is not (according to Nick and Gene) Jesus’ birthed spirit.Micah 5:2 is clearly makes two points:

Hi Ed,
Indeed the Spirit of anointing is from eternity.
Yes Nick,
Indeed the Spirit of anointing came from eternity
to be birthed in Bethlehem as Micah 5:2 clearly states.____________

Hi TC,
How far back he goes into eternity past is irrelevant to the point,
the point being the spirit of Christ preexisted Christ’s birth.
Long ago is an affirmation Christ preexisted his birth.____________

I think you are writing to someone else.

(1) The “Spirit of Christ” is not the Spirit Jesus Christ, but rather the Spirit of God.
(2) Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

…, but you choose to neglect those scriptures, why is that?
Hi Gene,
I don’t. Jesus physical self came through David’s DNA,
but the Spirit of Christ came from eternity to
Bethlehem as Micah 5:2 clearly states. Why do YOU dismiss what Micah 5:2 clearly states? why is that?
