even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow,
and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” (Heb 4:12)Ed J replied to the topic I Invite you all to Ramadan in the forum Other Faiths 11 years, 5 months ago

Ed you said,
“Eat thou NOT the bread of him that hath an evil eye, neither desire thou his dainty meats:
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:
Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
The morsel which thou hast eaten shalt thou vomit up, and lose thy sweet words. (Prov 23:6-8)As for me…

Hi David,
Are you familiar with the word “canon” David?
I posed your question to myself at the age of twelve,
and that is when I became a “Christian”, because I needed
to know where “the line” of right and wrong needed to be drawn. And you know what I learned David?

Hi David,

I don’t remember that being in the bible,

Hi David,
I believe you, me and Nick are all saying the same thing.
I believe Nick knows this, but not sure that you do.I’ll spell it out.
The HolySpirit (that sanctifies) inspired the words in the bible.
The HolySpirit is not limited merely to the text of the bible. It is HE the HolySpirit that is where we should get our morality from, it…[Read more]
