Ed J, I hope you realize that my whole reason for referencing John 10 is to prove that Jesus is not YHVH, that he is not the One True God. People want to say that in other passages Jesus is being called God and they are equating him to be the One True God, or rather is one of two, or one of three, that they believe makes up the One True God.…

Hi All,
Scripture “directly tells us” that YHVH made Jesus a god…
Hi Jodi,
None of those verses tell us “DIRECTLY” that YHVH made Jesus a god ???
You are instead reading into a few selected verses to come up with that idea.
So I suggest you change the wording of your claim…
“Scripture “directly tells us” that YHVH made Jesus a god” – Jodi

Hi Gene,
My understanding,
Jesus called Peter Satan/adversary for he had in his MIND the things of MEN.
Yes Jodi,
the things of men is to have God save the carnal mind, and bring with it flesh and blood into the kingdom of God.
So I suggest you stop this thinking, and be transformed in the renewing of your mind!

Hi All,
Scripture directly tells us that YHVH made Jesus a god…
Hi Jodi,
You keep making this claim, but where is your PROOF?
Chapter and verses please ???
Ed J replied to the topic God of gods and Lord of lords in the forum Scriptural Teachings 5 years, 9 months ago
So you want to claim Jesus as ‘a god’ of some kind, while
at the same time taking his preexisting connection to God away. How odd ???

Actually Mike, that is what I think.
Words are Spirit, and therefore “The Word” is God’s HolySpirit.
It lines up with all of Scripture that way.
But the sword OF the Spirit is the Word of God.
Hi T8,
That lines up more with what I’m saying than what you are saying.
The sword of the spirit is coming out of the rider of the w…[Read more]

when it comes to Rev 19:13… unless you think the VISIBLE rider of the white horse (“The Word of God”) is a literal INVISIBLE word that God speaks. Cheers.

And again, when he(GOD) bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
Good verse Berean. Clearly Christ has Deity, as he is God’s only-begotten son!
