Here is a second witness (Isaiah 28:11) to the interpretation of the verse I gave.
“For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.” (Isaiah 28:11)
(1) First: Let’s at the face value context of this verse. “this people” – what “People”?
I believe this people are the Hebrew speaking people (I believe most would…[Read more]Ed J started the topic Does a Bible verse carry more than one meaning? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 5 years, 5 months ago
Hi Everyone,
I believe there is evidence to suggest this is true…
Here is one such example (1 Corinthians 14:27):
“If any man speak in an unknown tongue, let it be by two, or at the most by three,
and that by course; and let one interpret.” (1 Corinthians 14:27)On the face value context: we see that Shaool is referring to Church…[Read more]

(1)Where does it say ‘yet’ in that verse? It says ‘today’ and ‘he IS Christ the Lord”.
(2)They argue like Nick that Jesus was an ordinary man who had the best resume among men. So God chose this random man. Then this random man called Jesus became the Christ when he was baptized.
(3)But scripture says that God sent his son into the world to sa…

Hi T8,
I didn’t say the word “YET” was implied in that verse, I said it was implied in this verse….
“calleth those things which be not (yet) as though they were” (Romans 4:17)
And the reason it is implied is obvious:
Because God is not calling things…[Read more]

Even this one verse wipes away the false teaching that some teach here.
Today in the city of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord!
12And this will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”Hi T8,

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

I believe Jesus emptied himself of his glorious heavenly nature to be born on earth as a human being. After accomplishing what his and our God sent him to do, he ascended back to heaven, where he now exists with that previous glory – plus some more.
I hope that answers your question, as I couldn’t quite understand the wording.

Hi T8,
(1 John 5:9) “If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater”
“We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed” (2 Peter 1:19)
This video helps to prove that prophecy is given as “a day for a year”
This video is on the 70 weeks of Daniel (prophecy of Jesus as Messiah).- Load More
