The door is Christ – have you entered yet…?
Jesus is the way to God.
He is not the destination and the door.
He is the path/door/way yes, but the path to something.
You have to argue that Jesus is the door to himself and two others.
We disagree of course because “No man comes to the Father but by him“.
If Jesus is the only way to God…[Read more]

Look at the Jehovah’s Witnesses as an example – in one sense they acknowledge Christ, that He died for our sins etc, but in fact they actually deny Christ by denying His divinity – they reject the revelation of the Son that is given in Scripture by the Spirit… and have written their own Bible to suit their man-made teachin…

@davidl each time you make a claim I give you an example and you turn blind to it: You say things like who would make such a claim as “I and my father are one” God has made a similar claim in the Bible telling Samuel:
And the LORD told him:1 Samuel 8:7 “Listen to all that the people are saying to you;
it is not you they have rejected, but t…[Read more]

@davidl I invite you to a friendly debate regarding your beliefs in the trinity, will you accept?

If this is about the actual beginning it would make no sense because there would be no “Men” in the beginning but in John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
You can clearly see that to be profound he borrows the phrase “in the Beginning” but this is the beginning of the Gospel and this is his way of developing the…[Read more]

In short @DavidL
You have to add in THE to make The Word God himself. But THE is not there. BTW, if it was there, then it would say that the Word was God to the exclusion of the Father.

@DavidL Saying God has given all power on heaven and earth does not make them God look:
Matthew 18:8 “Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Are these disciples now God? or Look:
John 14:12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I…[Read more]

@DavidL you said “He is united again with the Father, as He Himself declared, “Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.”
Do you not clearly see the words “sit on the right hand of the Power of God” PLEASE note it does not say “AS GOD” also understand that Jesus said: Mark 10:40 But to sit on my right hand and on m…[Read more]

What is more helpful @DavidL is scripture.
And if teaching goes against scripture, then the teaching is false.
Mainstream teaching has probably never been the truth. Orthodoxy often persecutes the truth. It was this way in Jesus time and our time is no different.
Show us scriptures and you have our attention. Show us mainstream videos from…[Read more]

the doctrine of eternal suffering.
ETERNAL SUFFERING,
It is not to be meant that a soul would be ETERNALLY CONDEMNED IN HELL,since hell would eventually be for sure eradicated!
The word ETERNAL is a reference to GOD!
SO IT SHOULD BE DEFINED:
GOD’S SUFFERING!
WHICH WAS MANIFESTED IN CHRIST ON THE CROSS!
THE FACT THAT GOD HIMSELF…[Read more]

Death by very definition in not annihilation, or how could there be a second one..!?!?
Good question DavidL.
Death means separation. The first death is separation from the body. The second death is separation from God. It is written that the spirit goes back to God who gave it. We know that the spirit gives life, and that no one can live…[Read more]

John clearly saw in his vision that Hell is thrown into the Lake of Fire which is the second death. Anyone who tries to change these words will be cursed.
I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues which are written in this book; and if anyone takes away from the…[Read more]

Sorry bd – I have never seen a debate that brought anyone to the truth…is debating even Biblical..?? The reason I’m on this site is to reprove and bring correction – not to debate. BTW I have ressponded to your questions.
Actually I called it a discussion but of course debate is biblical and it has brought people to the truth, besides that what do you think Jesus was doing throughout the entire gospel? He was debating and it was through his debating that many listening to him started following him. and not just him, they all did it:
Acts 15:7
And after there had…[Read more]
