Do you believe in the father of God?
Proclaimer replied to the topic Testing the Trinity in the forum Inspirational writings & sermons 9 years, 7 months ago
If Jesus is God and the son of God, then by reason of the Trinity Doctrine, the Father who is also God (I agree) must then be the Father of God.
One God three persons basically says:
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
&
The Father of God
The Son of God
The Spirit of God.Why is the Father not the Father of God if all…[Read more]

t8 uses a lot of stolen arguments to bolster his false doctrine…he takes this verse (out of context) because it is the same one Arius used to try and deny the trinity centuries ago..
@DavidL, are you aware that the measure you judge is the same that you will be judged by. You say that I steal Arius’s argument.
Please list exactly the argument I…[Read more]

Bod has a good point above.
The Trinity Doctrine is wrong and leads to other false assumptions DavidL.

It is persecution @DavidL. Because you oppose me for believing that the Father is the one true God and that He sent another, his son into the world.
Every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the Glory of God. And we believe that the is the messiah and son of God. But you believe that he is God and that God died. Rather, this God is…[Read more]

DavidL,
You contradict yourself constantly about reasoning and so I get the idea you have no idea what you are speaking of. You cannot compare two scriptures to each other unless you use reasoning.
Paul is recorded as reasoning using Scriptures in Acts 17:2. You have lied repeatedly and it is necessary for you to realize this is so in order for…

You keep saying that John 1:1 represents Genesis also, right?
So here is the question: Does God have a beginning?
Because in both John and Genesis it talks about the beginning of something and although I am certain 100% it is the beginning of different things and that John and Genesis have nothing to do with each other…God wants me to…[Read more]

@DavidL, reading and teaching what scripture teaches may or may not be logical from our understanding. But it is true and we should love the truth.
“For us, there is one God the Father”. Yes there is a certain logic to that when I think about it, but more importantly, it is true.
I teach these scriptures. In many cases, I am really just quoting…[Read more]

agreed – only Christ is one with the Father..
How many times will it take for you to realise that your predefined man-made doctrine makes you teach false doctrine and err in a myriad of ways. And how many scriptures will it take before you realise that scripture actually rebukes and corrects you time and time again. You lack u…[Read more]

I believe that Jesus, as the Son, exists in a place of equality with the Father…He is with God – He is God…(one in complete unity)
@DavidL. He is with God. That makes HE and GOD. The former is the Son of God. Identifying Jesus Christ as the son of God is the true confession. He is Lord, Messiah, and Son of the living God.
Be careful not to deny…[Read more]

The fastest growing religion, Islam, teaches that God has not a son. Thus, they deny the Father and the Son making that religion antichrist. The Roman Catholic Church teaches that Jesus is God, thus they subtly deny the Father and the Son because one is meant to be God and the other the Son of God. If the Son of God is God, then you deny the Son…[Read more]

@DavidL, while you may or may not have some valid points about the Word being with God, I want to point you to something of utmost importance that far outweighs what we believe about the Word of God.
You agree with the Catholic Faith as defined by their creed more than you believe the following words:
“For us, there is one God the Father, and…[Read more]

You said @DavidL, not me.
