Hi Lop.First, I'd like to say that I'm sorry that your Nickname will be Lop. It's just easier to write. Lop. Also, you write:Quote Also, In Daniel, God said the Books were sealed. So why are the books open. God is not a liar.DANIEL 12:9-10“And he went on to say: “Go, Daniel, because the words are made secret and sealed up until the time of en…[Read more]

I know you're trying to make a point. I just don't understand what that is. Yes, he could show righteous indignation and be stern when called for. But, we are commanded by Jesus to show love for our fellow believers as Jesus showed love for us. I think part of JW's being “lovely people” as you say, is that they demonstrate this love,…[Read more]

He was loving. He had warmth and deep feeling. He was often tender in the way he delt with people. He was approachable and kind and attracted people to him. Even children felt at ease. And his followers would similarly show a very distince kind of love:“I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, t…[Read more]

Nick, you claiming that Jehovah, a God of love would torture people with fire alive for all time is the most offensive thing I can possibly imagine. It paints God as a cruel vindictive monster. It slanders God and all he stands for: Justice, Love, etc. When are you going to realize this most fundamental truth: God is love?david

People following the Master would imitate the master and be “lovely people.”People not following the Master would be “lovers of themselves,” as Paul described people living in the last days. (2 Tim 3) In fact, many claiming to be Christian would actually kill their fellow believers, the ultimate proof of not being loving.

Quote To which I say touche', however we come out of her and go where? Not an intenty within ourself. We are not our own denomination. We HAVE to belong to a group of believers.Yes, Casey, this is one of the commn beliefs of this forum and of Nick and T8. There's the non-trinitarianism. Nick HQuote Hi,The JWs follow a series of bizarre and nonbiblical teachings in their vain attempts to qualify to be in the 144,000 they say go to heaven. They teach all men are forgiven at death thus being aligned with the universalist heresy. Desperately earnest they are also sadly rather seriously deceived.More importantly, Rejoysing, the…[Read more]

Quote Hi Mercy,You said”No man hath seen God at any time;”And that means to you that when men have thought they saw God they must have seen Jesus? Why? Perhaps, its the rest of that verse, that explains why he believes that:JOHN 1:18“No man has seen God at any time; the only-begotten god who is in the bosom with the Father is the one that has e…[Read more]

Casey, since you've a couple times said I'm wrong on Jesus being worshipped, but didn't explain why you felt such, I'd love to hear it from you.And please don't just say: “My Bible says he was “worshipped.” (See above.)Something you also state that bothers me, is you keep saying: “1914, enough.”Quote 1914? Ok, the WORLD could only have been…[Read more]

Nick, since the word used as “angel” and “messenger” in your Bible are the exact same word, your question makes little sense. When the translator thnk that word relates to a person, it is generally translated “messenger,” and when referring to a spirit creature, it is translated “angel.”

Again, Quote I was just answering your statement by using a COMPARISON, hoping it would help you to understand. My mistake. I apologize.Nick, what I am saying absolutely belongs here. Nick, please read my above post again. You ask, 'Where does the Bible say Jesus is an angel?'I asked you Nick, where the Bible says that God burns people alive forever for the sins of a few years on earth. Where does it say that in the Bible?YET THAT IS WHAT YOU BELIEVE?Why?

I agree.Being the message that Jesus preached, and the message that was fortold to be preached in the last days, there's little mention of it on here. The word rendered “kingdom” in the Christian Greek Scriptures is ba·si·lei′a, meaning meaning “a kingdom, realm, the region or country governed by a king; kingly power, authority, dominion, reign;…[Read more]
