Quote The definition of polytheism is “The worship of or belief in more than one god.”Does the bible anywhere condemn “belief in more than one god.”?Wj, you believe in Jesus, who you would call godYou believe in the father, who you would call god. Some would say that makes you a polytheist. The bible does condemn the worship of other gods.

EdThoughts on the “Divine Name King James Bible”?Haven't seen it, but they put the name Jehovah back in it thousands of times I assume. Ed, is the AKJV wrong when it removes Gods name thousands of times?OR,Is the AKJV wrong to include the name Jehovah the 3 or 4 times it does?I know one of those things has to be wrong. If you argue that both…[Read more]

Quote What does “Only True God” mean? You and Mike believe there are other true gods, and if Jesus was claiming to be “a god” in John 10:35 why would he have said, “”Only True God”?–wjIf you understood what god means, (mighty one/strong one/powerful one, etc) then it would be easy to understand that he is the only one who is “mighty” RELATIVE to…[Read more]

Quote magicians also did the same things by their secret arts: I read a magic book that focused on the “Indian rope trick, an effect performed mostly in India or Egypt traditionally, or not at all. Quote But tell me what MAN, magician or not, can turn wooden staffs into snakes?People still do this trick in Egypt. Much like birds, when you bend back the head of certain snakes, they go into a trance like state and stay rigid until snapped out of it. Quote That the Universe can self-organise with no consciousness. If you have gravity, do you need consciousness to organize? But of course then the questions becomes: where did gravity and the other fundamental forces come from? We're these forces at one time one force? Perhaps gravity is just a function of mass. If by “bananas” you mean modern banana's, then I would say and I would think you would know that bananas had a lot of help from humans. You wouldn't really recognize a banana from a few thousand years ago. It's similar with how it's almost impossible to find a watermelon with seeds in it these days. 10 years ago, not so hard.
