Hi Nick. Is this an answer to your rejection of Jesus' words in Matt.15:24? Doesn't make much sense if it is!Blessings.

Hi Nick. What part of the explanation do you not understand? This is not “my doctrine”, just say what part of this explanation you don't agree with, and we can go on from there. Just a generalized opinion makes no sense to anyone, let alone trying to figure out what your problem is.Blessings.

Hi Nick. I find Gene to be very clear in his views on baptism, of which I agree with. You, on the other hand, when unable to debate with scripture and facts, veer off on another tangent with statements like this last post of yours, accusing him (Gene) “to avoid becoming fossiliesed in doctrinal dogmas”. Now what is that suposed to mean? As…[Read more]

Hi Nick. Do we have to go all over this again? I think you keep repeating the same old story over and over again. This has already been answered, I think you just go over the same routine when you're stumped for an answer. Get back to the debate, Matt.15:24. Or have you run out of ideas as how to say that Jesus “was NOT for the lost sheep…[Read more]

Hi Gene, Thanks for your post, a very good description about baptizm. You obviously have been “baptized” with the Holy Spirit, the various posts you have participated in are very much the “truth”. We all still might disagree on some items, but God is still working in us, “For His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good…[Read more]

Nick. For in grace, through faith, are you saved, and this is not out of you; it is God's approach present,9 not of works, lest anyone should be boasting.10 For His achievement are we, being created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God makes ready beforehand, that we should be walking in them. God works by the indwelling of His Holy…[Read more]

Hi Nick, A little bit more of scripture for you…. “Christ has become the Servant of the Circumcision, for the sake of the truth of God, to confirm the patriarchal promises. Yet the nations are to glorify God for His mercy . . . with His people” (Rom.15:8-10). Blessings.

Nick, This should clear it up for you.21 The incident of the Canaanitish woman is of surpassing interest to us, for it shows clearly what was the status of the nations in our Lord's ministry. Her very mistakes are instructive. The nations have no part in the Son of David. He is Israel's King. No matter how much she may implore the Son of David,…[Read more]

Quote (chosenone @ June 14 2008,16:59)The new birth is crystallized in the familiar words: “you must be born anew” (John 3:7). Our elaboration of it must be sought either in the words of the Lord Jesus, of those who heard Him, or in the Hebrew revelation. It was a matter which Nicodemus ought to have known and taught in Israel, for the pro…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ June 15 2008,17:07)Hi CO,You would be wiser to also believe his words rather than just accepting them as historical documents.Nick, You're right, I should just believe His words…Here are His words… “I was not commissioned except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel”.(Matt.15:24) This was spoken by Christ Jesus,…[Read more]

All salvation is by God, through His Holy Spirit. Ro. 12:3…as God parts to each the measure of faith.Blessings.

The word “you” in Greek this instance was “plural”. If when speaking to Nicodemus only, the singular Greek word for “you” would have been used. Always consistant.Blessings.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ June 15 2008,17:16)Hi CO, You said”You are right on, you are absolutely correct, we are saved when baptized with the Holy Spirit.” and quoted Acts 1 5For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Sorry but salvation is not mentioned here. The topic is “baptism”.Blessings.
