Quote (wild_olive_branch @ Nov. 15 2008,15:15)Chosen one, are you saying that what Christ taught to both Jew and Gentile became null and void due to him being slaughtered, my teachings have said his blood covered our sins, the perfect sacrifice, to date, no one has said that you can move your neighbors boundry line, eat or drink blood, covent your…[Read more]

Nick. That scripture was to the Jews. Remember, “we must correctly cut the word of truth”. Forgot, didn't you?
chosenone replied to the topic For us but not about us? in the forum Truth or Tradition 17 years, 4 months ago
Nick. Because of what He (Jesus) said! I believe His very word.

Nick. Believing scripture is, you must not disbelieve what Christ said!

Nick. You're the one who doesn't believe the words of Jesus, I do. (Matt.15:24)
chosenone replied to the topic Free Will? in the forum Truth or Tradition 17 years, 4 months ago
Nick. Because Jesus teaching was to the Jews only, see Matt.15:24. I was saved by “Grace”.
chosenone replied to the topic The Door in the forum Scriptural Teachings 17 years, 4 months ago
Nick. The “gospel of the kingdom” was never reached by the Jews who Jesus taught. And of course you are in error again: He “Jesus”, opened salvation for all mankind by His death and resurrection, , having 'justified' us, and God sees our sin no more. (2Cor.5:18-19 …18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and…[Read more]

Nick. How about the teaching of His Father, God? Looks like you don't accept His!

Nick. I couldn't save myself as you did. But I believe scripture, and have been saved “by the Grace of God”. Phil.2:13 … for it is God Who is operating in you to will as well as to work for the sake of His delight. I thank God for His 'Grace”, for unlike you, I could do nothing to save myself.Blessings.

Nick. Jesus was teaching while under the “Law”. He “fulfilled the “Law”, teaching the true meaning of the law, not just the 'word' of the law, as the Pharisees did. He kept ALL the laws, the festivals, the 'day of atonement', all monetary and food laws. If you believe as you do, that there is some unbiblical “eternal gospel for all”, then…[Read more]

1Cor.15:22 …For even as, in Adam, all are dying, thus also, in Christ, shall all be vivified.1Tim.4:9-11 … Faithful is the saying and worthy of all welcome10 (for for this are we toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind,11 especially of believers. Nick. If you don't understand the meaning of “ALL”, look in the dictionary. Others have no trouble understanding English, why is this so difficult for you?
chosenone replied to the topic The Truth in the forum Truth or Tradition 17 years, 4 months ago
E. Your explanation makes no sense, I can't even begin to understand your reasoning. The “Concordant version” is not scripture, it's the organization that translated scripture, same as the “King James” version is not scripture, but also a translation of scripture, there are also many other 'versions'. Not even remotely similar to comparing…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Nov. 12 2008,11:30)Hi CO, Where did Jesus say his words were for the Jews only?Or did you make this up?Nick. I have given you scripture many times, please look at past postings, I'm tired of repeating it.
chosenone replied to the topic The Door in the forum Scriptural Teachings 17 years, 4 months ago
Nick. His (Jesus) words were for the Jews only. His sacrifice is what justified all mankind, He (God), “sees our sin no more”.
chosenone replied to the topic For us but not about us? in the forum Truth or Tradition 17 years, 4 months ago
Nick. Acts11:18 …Now, on hearing these things, they are quiet, and glorify God, saying, “Consequently, to the nations also God gives repentance unto life!” Why ask for something (repentance), when God has already granted it to us? Did Jesus die for nothing? What an insult to God, still asking for something Jesus accomplished at such…[Read more]

Nick. If you have trouble understanding what “ALL” means, you have a problem with the English language.
chosenone replied to the topic The Truth in the forum Truth or Tradition 17 years, 4 months ago
Ep.BTW, did you know that the word “concordant” and the phrase “The Concordant Literal New Testament” does not appear anywhere in the Scriptures! That MUST mean that the version of the Scriptures you are using is unbiblical!! And therefore you must abandon that translation of the Scriptures immediately or face the wrath of God!! So do any versions…[Read more]
