NH. The word of God …18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation,19 how that God was in Christ, conciliating the world to Himself, not reckoning their offenses to them, and placing in us the word of the conciliation. How can you not believe scripture?

It seems that these “some other folk would unwisely offer” is the “one eternal gospel for all”. I'll ask for the “umpteenth time”, show scripture that shows this gospel of…[Read more]

NH. The ecclesia (body of Christ) are chosen!!! Col.3:12 …Put on, then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, pitiful compassions, kindness, humility, meekness, patience, 2Tim.2:10 …10 Therefore I am enduring all because of those who are chosen, that they also may be happening upon the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with glory…[Read more]

NH. John, the beloved disciple, is dead. How then could he insist so strongly that he had “everlasting” life, and that all who are not believing this have made God a liar? It is evident that he did not have what we would understand by “everlasting” life or he would still be living. The rendering “eonian” avoids this difficulty. This life does…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 16 2009,07:55)CO, Do you have to read Paul to partake of this new gospel or is it automatic for all who are born?NH. I don't understand your question.
chosenone replied to the topic Salvation in the forum Truth or Tradition 17 years, 1 month ago
NH. “We” don't chose our entry into the 'body of Christ', we are “chosen”, by God.

NH. Why would you think I discourage others? In contrast to you, who teaches salvation through 'works of the flesh'. I encourage others that accept Gods word that “All is of God”, as written in 2Cor.5:18-19 …18 Yet all is of God, Who conciliates us to Himself through Christ, and is giving us the dispensation of the conciliation,19 how that…[Read more]

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 16 2009,07:13)GB, So if God draws us to Jesus what are we then to do? Stand outside the door?NH. The answer is in scripture, of course you don't believe all that is written, but, “we don't do good works to be saved, we do good works BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED”. So we don't just “stand outside the door”, understand?

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 13 2009,05:26)GB,Indeed you should believe scripture. Paul is not greater than his Lord and brings no new teaching as he is led by the Spirit of Christ.
