Nick. We are not made in the image God. Most bibles have incorrectly translated this passage. Obviously, we are not like Jesus, but we will be (Joint heirs) at the consummation, when creation is completed. The correct translation is this: And creating is the Alueim 'humanity in His image. In the image of the Alueim He creats it'. Male…[Read more]

Quote (Is 1:18 @ Mar. 18 2007,20:05)Quote Christ revealed the Father within his vessel. The fullness of deity could be seen in Christ-every aspect of God's nature and power. That vessel had to be empty to allow that to happen.Christ the submitted servant.Couldn't all this be said of Paul? or Peter? They also were filled with the Holy Spirit. This…[Read more]

kenrch. All scripture you quoted, (except the one in Galatians) was to the Jews, while still under the law. Of couse they had to obey what you quoted, that was the law. The Gentiles never had the law, they were away from God, until after the death and ressurrection of Christ. Then after the Jews rejected Christ again, God turned to the…[Read more]

Nick. Where did scripture I quoted say that “If you think puny natural man has righteouness etc….” It is just the oposite, it is you who thinks we have to “do something” to obtain salvation, yes, us, puny man. It is I that says scripture is all of God. How were we justified? Not by doing what you say has to be done! We are justified by…[Read more]

Nick. The apostle Paul, writing in Galatians 4:1-5, explaines that we are not under law, but if we try to be (like you) we will be under the yoke of slavery. See the following:1 For freedom Christ frees us! Stand firm, then, and be not again enthralled with the yoke of slavery.2 Lo! I, Paul, am saying to you that if you should be…[Read more]

Nick. Yes, in Acts, while still under the law, the Jews had to repent, they could not do so on their own. Notice in Romans 2:4 “…that the kindness of God is leading you to repentance? Notice the difference, it is “God leading you to…” You can't get there by your own efforts, “All is of God” (Ro.11-36).Blessings.

Hi Nick. Grace is accessed by obedience? You don't understand what grace is, It is the unearned, unrefusable, truely blessed, gift of God. It cannot be “earned” in any way. Grace is just that, “GRACE”. Only given by God alone.Blessings.

Nick. An added question, if we are “justified”, then in Gods eyes we are righteous. Why the need for repentance? It was all done for us on the cross. What more is needed?Blessings.

Nick. We have been “justified” by the death and ressurrection of our lord Christ Jesus. “being justified gratuitously in His grace”,…(Ro.3:24)This is a description of “justified” for you.THE MEANING OF “JUSTIFY” Now, from this grand perspective, let us seek to grasp the scriptural essence of the Greek verb dikaioõ, which, in English, is “jus…[Read more]

Nick. This is an example of what Paul thought of his past, under the “law”. He now thinks of it as “refuse” (garbage). Now under “grace”, he trusts in “Christ”. The Law was abolished!4 And am I having confidence in flesh, also? If any other one is presuming to have confidence in flesh, I rather:5 in circumcision the eighth day, of the race…[Read more]

Nick. Jesus taught while under the law, He was a Jew and obeyed the law perfectly, thats how He fullfilled the law. This should help you understand what you quoted in Philippians 3:17-21.EXHORTATION TO IMITATE PAUL17 The imitation of Christ, when He was concerned with an economy which was, in some ways, the opposite of the present, has led to endless failure and confusion. The reason for Paul's exhortation that he be made a model for their imitation…[Read more]

Nick. Same gospel? Notice that God told Peter that there were no more dietery laws, Acts.10:15. See also verse 28, the Jews could now keep company with people of the nations (gentiles).
