Hi kejonn. I don't agree that this topic is a silly thread. It is very important for understanding the message Jesus gave. Is it to the Jews only, or, as many believe, is it for all. Truely, all scripture is FOR us (all), but not all scripture is ABOUT us. It is impotant to know that, as in Ro.15:8 scripture says, “…that Christ has…[Read more]

“One verse from an obscure version”? You need to read and understand scripture before making such a rediculous statement! Read “Colossians”, at least the first two chapters, more if you have time for the truth. It would benefit you much.

No, not reborn, that is for the “nation of Israel”. I have been made a “new creation”.

So, you say God had no need to instuct Paul to complete His word? Just keep it as it was?

Yes Nick, but, did Jesus mean what He said? That was the question.

When something is completed, it is not the same as it was 'before' it was completed. Why God chose to do it this way, I'm not sure. But may I take a guess? First God made the “Jews”, His chosen people, destined to make them a nation of “priests and kings”. (If they were able to fullfill the 'law' and had accepted their “Messiah”), they…[Read more]

It was God that commissioned Paul, “to complete the word of God”. God is completeing His word through Paul. This is scripture, that it is God who is completing His word. We are not “adding to the words of God”, it is God Himself ” completeing His word!

Matthew 10:5-65 These twelve Jesus commissions, charging them, saying, “Into a road of the nations you may not pass forth, and into a city of the Samaritans you may not be entering.6 Yet be going rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

My bible of Jn.14:6 says:5 Thomas is saying to Him, “Lord, we are not aware whither Thou art going, and how can we be aware of the way?”6 Jesus is saying to him, “I am the Way and the Truth and the Life. Again, as soon as you are shown scripture that you are wrong, you change the subject. When you admit the gospel has changed as I have given scripture showing this, that you asked for, then we can go on to your next subject. Until then it is useless for me to be discussing a subject regarding scripture with you, because when trapped, you change…[Read more]
