Hi Desiretruth,
Cont.
I intervened and took the opportunity and replied to your post to Nick, in order to maintain our discussion focused on 1Corinthians 15:3 hereunder:
You: “To reject Paul is to reject his Master Jesus Christ”; so Paul saves too?!!?
ME: Scriptures:

Hi Desiretruth,
Cont.
Post. #944095
Me: WHAT CONVINCED YOU THAT PAUL REFERRED TO THE OLD TESTAMENT?
You: The only SCRIPTURE available to them in the 1st century was the tanach, the Jewish writings that we today call the “old testament.”
Me: Paul used the word “SCRIPTURE”.
It is not enough proof that he was definitely referring…[Read more]

Hi Desiretruth,
You: For the record, still waiting for the OT reference to I Cor 15:3-4
ME: As I mentioned in my last post, hereunder is the first post in order to initiate our discussion, in relation to 1Cor. 15:3-4, and I asked my first question.

Hi Desiretruth,
You: As far as the rest of what you wrote, I didn’t waste my time because it’s to hard to follow
(different font sizes,
color changes,
all caps,
broken sentences,
and none paragraph format).
Grammar is your friend,

H Desiretruth,
You: You believe the OT is “OBSOLETE”, thus making the NT the only book worthy of study
Me: Your reasoning doesn’t make sense at all!
Don’t students study old respective literature, in order to acquire a degree?
WE MUST STUDY THE OT NOT TO LIVE BY IT, BUT IN ORDER TO BE COMPARED WITH THE NEW, AND REVEAL THE TRUTH!
HIDDEN IN…[Read more]

Hi Nick, I agree, for a person like you perhaps I’m afraid. For others like DT most probably it would be more to masticate I hope.

Hi Nick,
You: Jesus is intentionally speaking in a confusing manner thru the use of parables so those who came to listen to him wouldn’t understand so they wouldn’t turn and have their sins forgiven. Tell me how you interpret this in a positive manner?!? In essence Jesus is hiding the Kingdom of God from the people and only the select chosen few…[Read more]

Hi Nick,
You: Your own spirit cannot recognize the Holy Spirit.
You must be born again from above.
Me: Who said I am not?
Peace and love in Jesus Christ.

HI Nick,
You:
The Spirit of Christ which spoke through the Son was always one with God.
WHERE IN SCRIPTURE WE CAN READ SUCH A DEFINITION?
FROM MY PERSPECTIVE I’M AFRAID IT’S NOT QUITE THE TRUTH!
Can you not hear the Spirit?.
THAT’S IT!
ALWAYS ACCORDING TO THE SPIRIT IN ME!
SO ASK THE SPIRIT IN YOU AND CLARIFY USING SCRIPTURE…[Read more]

Hi Nick,
You: but do you not INTERPRET SCRIPTURE yourself and call this man a GODMAN?
John 10:3o I and the Father are one.
31The Jews then took up stones to stone him.
32Jesus answered them: Many good works I have shewed you from my Father; for which of these works do you stone me? 33 The Jews answered him: For a good work we stone thee not,…[Read more]carmel replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 1 year, 1 month ago
Hi Desiretruth,
You: God was forgiving mankind without the need or help of a messiah figure.
Me: THEN WHAT?
You: God forgave without the need for “blood” since HE was looking for a truly repentant heart.
Me: THEN WHAT?
You: So the question still remains,
what need does anyone have with Jesus?

Hi Nick
YOU: Hi Carmel,
Corresponding to that Baptism now saves you- not the removal of dirt from the flesh, but an appeal to God for a good conscience-through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is at the right hand of God, having gone into heaven, after angels and authorities and powers had been subjected to him. 1 Peter 3.24

Hi Desiretruth,
In reference to post #944977, one word is all you need and that is “zera”; I have been over this word before and is a reference to descendants, one who is procreated, something produced after it’s own kind. This is the term used in the OT to reference who the Messiah will be, the seed of David.
In other words in the linea…[Read more]

Hi Jodi,
You: Berean, Jesus preaches of his coming glory, teaching directly that it is glory unto the Son of Man and preaching ALSO that it was prepared since the creation of the world.
