you do agree that Jesus was not sent to be the Messiah to other than the Jews right? This is what he said not me:
Matthew 15:24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

Yes the Jews were waiting for their promised Messiah to come and it was realized with Jesus coming but they rejected him

You still avoided my question. Jesus said “We know what we worship” So who does Jesus worship alongside the other Jews?
I love to worship what Jesus worships, I am trying to get you to tell me what or who should we worship other than what Jesus worships. Jesus said to the lady “you know not what you worship” she said the Jews know what to…[Read more]

I will start off by saying if you accept this discussion thank you very much:
I would like to begin by asking you, where did you first hear about “God the Son” and where have you ever seen this phrase in any Bible?

@davidl I invite you to a friendly debate regarding your beliefs in the trinity, will you accept?

Okay LU
This time I need you to simply admit you are mistaken if you cannot do that what is the point of a proper discussion, you said that the Believers were already with Jesus Christ now the scripture says this:
1 Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with…[Read more]

“God the son”?
Have you actually read the bible? I have and I will tell you Christianity was not something new that came out of nowhere because it is bas…[Read more]

Hi DavidL
I’m not sure where or how you developed your theology but I must ask you, Do you believe when the Bible and Jesus says:
Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:If so can you please tell me who is this Lord who is our God?
If it is Jesus is there another Lord who is our God?
If you say there is another Lord who…[Read more]

So what should a Christian do about the term “son of God”? how do you decide when you say God which would you be talking about? Why can’t God simply be Sovereign and we show HIM the ultimate respect.
By the way nick you are right I did say “therefore” but ironically you seemed to find something wrong with the term, did you also have a problem…[Read more]

If this is about the actual beginning it would make no sense because there would be no “Men” in the beginning but in John 1:4 In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
You can clearly see that to be profound he borrows the phrase “in the Beginning” but this is the beginning of the Gospel and this is his way of developing the…[Read more]

I didn’t use “therefore”, Jesus said that in the verse.

“You are correct that Scripture does not explain it. Instead it is clear God expects to know what the words mean. I can only by what I know and that is that in the new testament the words “image of God” mean the image of his righteousness and holiness.
I wouldn’t call this a total assumption as it is clear that God taught Adam knowledge and w…[Read more]

The scriptures say that man was created in the image and likeness of God and God gave man dominion over what he created for mankind, the scriptures don’t explain in what way man is created in his image and likeness except that he gave man Dominion as God and His angels have, as the prayer goes “on earth as it is in heaven”. In the realm of earth…[Read more]

To whomever it may concern,
Does 1 John 5:20 call Jesus the true God?
We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life. No, the text is being snatched out of context the…[Read more]

Another point is when a person is not focusing and reads things in Philippians or Colossians like Jesus being in the form of God or the image of the invisible God they tend to ignore that this is said about Humanity in Genesis and it does not say that somehow Adam’s image and likeness changed after they were cast out of the Garden, in-fact in the…[Read more]

As long as you see John 1:1 out of context you will never understand it because it is not about the wording it is about the “beginning” it is talking about and as I have said already over and over that John 1:1 is not about “the beginning” that is genesis it is about the beginning of the “gospel” it is amazing no one clearly sees this as…[Read more]

If you call what Jesus described the holding place until the Judgement isn’t it still a place of torment?
It seems the issue here was would God allow anyone to be tormented day and night, isn’t that the main issue here?

Sorry bd – I have never seen a debate that brought anyone to the truth…is debating even Biblical..?? The reason I’m on this site is to reprove and bring correction – not to debate. BTW I have ressponded to your questions.
Actually I called it a discussion but of course debate is biblical and it has brought people to the truth, besides that what do you think Jesus was doing throughout the entire gospel? He was debating and it was through his debating that many listening to him started following him. and not just him, they all did it:
Acts 15:7
And after there had…[Read more]
