If Satan and demons are not responsible for the state of the world then are you saying that Jesus did not accomplish anything by throwing Satan into the lake of fire? Who cares if Satan was thrown into the lake of fire or not the world is a mess so if Satan is not responsible somewhat for the mess then who is?
