    @Berean,
    You: It doesn’t matter if the Holy Spirit is a person or not…
    Me: It does if you are looking for truth. Apparently the truth isn’t a concern for you.

    Thank you for your perfect none response, proving you have know idea why you believe what you believe. Remain in your slumber of religion and continue to ignore the obvious.

    @Berean,

    Response to post 946020

    Is the “holy spirit” a separate person of God like trinitarians believe or is “holy” just a description of God’s spirit? After all in the Tanakh “holy Spirit” is said three times and every time it’s said, “holy” is an adjective describing God’s “Spirit.” You say you don’t believe in the trinity, yet you use th…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    You quote a verse and now I have three questions for you:

    What does it mean??

    Who is speaking and to whom are they speaking about in this dialog?

    What is the entire context of this section (Isa 53:1-9)?

    @Berean,

    you: “Satan (the great dragon OF Rev.12) is the great SPIRIT leader of the NWO which takes form with the beast (papacy) and the false prophet (apostate Protestantism/the beast which rises from the earth/USA)”

    me: is this what you have been taught or can you substantiate this with scripture?

    You quote Rev 17:14 and Jesus (the lamb), in…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    You give Danny and amen for writing nothing; but no response with our discussion concerning Sa-tan.

    Did you ever find the passage where the Messiah was to be buried and raised up on the third day in the OT? Remember, this is “according to scripture” says Paul.

    @Berean,

    you: “Don’t you see that God, speaking to the Serpent, addresses first the animal, then the devil….

    It’s clear though… isn’t it?”

    me: I suppose when you ignore that pesky “and” you can see the second part as being referencing “the devil.” Unfortunately when you understand grammar, know how grammar works, and appropriate…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    I’m not going to focus on every response, but just a few that really jump out as being patently false and why believing something doesn’t make it truth.

    you:

    verse 14 suggests that God spoke to the serpent (the animal)

    It may seem unfair that God cursed him (although not with death)

    but since God cursed him, there is a rea…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    you: “Honestly I believe that EITHER Satan used this serpent (he made it his medium) to get Eve to sin against God’s order.”

    me: So you “believe” Sa-tan possessed the creature and made it “entice” Eve to take and eat the fruit. Does your “belief” explain why Eve had no problem speaking with the serpent? Does your belief explain wh…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    The passage of Gen 3:1 tells us a “serpent” spoke to Eve. Verse 1 also states this “serpent” was more cunning than all the beasts of the field God made. Is this “serpent” Sa-tan, is Sa-tan a created beast of the field, was this serpent somehow “possessed” by Sa-tan, or was this “serpent” a higher level of beast created?

    This is act…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    Isa 59:2 doesn’t explain why I need a Messiah for salvation. This verse states it is sin/iniquity that separates us from God. Nowhere does it state because of this separation we need a Messiah to get back to God. God said to repent, turn from your wickedness, and your sin will be remember no more. Since sin will separate us from God, all…[Read more]

    I said, “So we’re back to Jesus being God…false teaching!!”

    You respond, “Me: No, Jesus in the beginning was with (the God) AND was God.”

    Am I not understanding something here?!?!?

    @Berean,

    So we’re back to Jesus being God…false teaching!!

    Did Jesus ever claim to be God, NOPE; what became the Catholics faith codified that in stone at the Counsel of Nicea and then almost 50 years later the “spirit” was added to the mix to create the “trinity” doctrine. History is your friend.

    @Berean,

    What you posted is “messianic Judaism”, a branch of “christianity” where Jews can keep their identity and customs, but follow the “rules” of the christian system. This organization, One for Israel, makes the claim Isa 53 is “the forbidden chapter”, which is a lie. This chapter isn’t “forbidden”, you can find studies done by Jewish teache…[Read more]

    @Berean,

    Isa.42
    Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth;

    And your question is when did God’s “soul” delight in Israel/Jacob.

    The first part that has to be answered is who is “mine elect” or “my chosen”? According to Strong’s 972 “bachir” means chosen and other word usages are “chosen one” and “elect.” “Ba…[Read more]
