No you would not be a fool. This is solid food T8. Anyone could read this passage and come up with your interpretation. You want to understand the solids don’t you? The whole world can read revelations, and not be given understanding, so I am showing you that you are interpreting it wrong which is why I gave my reasons.

I cannot in good conscience ignore that scripture. I believe what it says. To me there are two kinds of Bible students.

1) Those who believe what it says and form their beliefs around what is written

2) Those who already have a doctrine and then make scripture fit into it. Difficult scriptures are ignored or have their meanings changed.

I do not ever want to belong to group 2. If a scripture is hard to accept, then research it.

I have yet to ignore any scripture so far and I am not about to start doing that now. What I believe so far with my faith is the result of accepting all scripture.
