Hi Folks, When God has a word or words within his mind before he expresses them they are uncorrupted. When he communicates them they are uncorrupted. When a human mind recieves them they are uncorrupted. When one human communicates them to another human is the point in the communication process that they can become corrupted. When one person…[Read more]

Hi Irene and Paladin,Quote “There was a man sent from God”Where did God send this man from? Irene your answer to this post didn't seem, to my mind, to answer the question. My answer is that God sent this man(John the Baptist) from God's own self. My reasoning is that God has sent many prophets. God communicates to his prophets prophesies.…[Read more]

My strongly held opinion…I agree the thumbs up icon serves the same purpose as the like button, however, it is not easy to see how many thumbs up icons a post has received if the are not textually grouped together. Is there a script that you can incorporate that shows on the initial post how many thumbs up it has received? If not, no big deal.…[Read more]

Hi Thread Readers, This is my understanding of the scripture being explored here.Quote 1 Peter 2:12-15 (King James Version) 12Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. 13Submit yourselves to…[Read more]

Hi Istari, Quote No one but the disingenuous or deluded poster would claim that man or woman saw God and yet lived Actually I am and was being neither disingenuous or deluded. I was being curious. I was not referring to seeing God's face or the image of God. I was asking genuinely about the Isaiah scripture. The best answer I got was from s…[Read more]

Istari, I see the image of God in every person I see because we were all created in his image. Go read Isaiah Istari. I am not comprehending he is being talked to or seeing only angels there. Asking meif God is a liar is rhetorical right? God is the truth. There is no lie in the truth. Faith is belief in things unseen. I have not seen God, Jesus…[Read more]

Hi Folks, I am curious about the “no one has seen God but Jesus” concept simply because I was reading this the other night. I had decided that since Isaiah is referred to so much in the NT it would be good to read it and it has been interesting! Anyways here is the scripture.Quote Isaiah 6:1-5 (King James Version)Isaiah 6 1In the year that king…[Read more]

Hi Charles, Here is some practical knowledge for you. When someone besides you makes a statement to you in a post and you refer to it; it is not “your quote”. It is “your statement. If this is not abundantly clear to you I will even more graphically present it to you by using you post to teach you this. If you cannot learn this then you are,…[Read more]

Hi Gene, Right. I am complete agreement with you with respect to what you wrote in your post simply because Christ Jesus also functioned as a prophet of God, therefore, God speaking through him. There are other scriptures that Christ Jesus states this is exactly what he is doing. No worries friend. I post Christ Jesus talking about simply like…[Read more]

I would like to echo 942767's statement about not knowing everything. I am positive I don't. I am just a humble disciple of Christ Jesus. I don't try to teach much here. Charles, I strongly suggest that for a little while at least you get a red letter bible and reflect only on what Christ Jesus said and perhaps become a disciple of Christ Jesus. Become a brother and friend of Christ Jesus. I know he would like that.Quote Luke 8:21 (King James Version) 21And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my…[Read more]

To be quite honest, I think understanding the messages that God sends is vastly more important than understanding the metaphysical make-up of the messengers.
