By writing 'you and me' in your piece at the top of the thread, you have rather confronted everyone, don't you think?

    Stuart

I just stated something I believe in, that's all.
    I don't confront anyone.

Well, I believe one day there will be only eco-villages and permaculture farming all around, I hope you will see it as well. :)

I am sure the only way to really minimise human impact on the environment is to restrict ourselves to a subsistence lifestyle based on a local economy, but good luck talking the West out of its HD plasma screens and ipods.

    Stuart

Of course, not right now, not even in a hundred years, but slowly, step by step, Stuart, with raising of conscious, it will be done.

    Stuart, you know what?
This is waste of time to confront with what you are saying.
Because whatever you say is right for YOU! And whatever I say is right for ME! :) You always get what you believe in.
It is done onto you as you believe… (Matthew 9:19)

    I understand what you mean.
In this sence, I could say that I am not a Christian as well as I am not a Muslim or a Buddhist or any other…
If you are interested in my relations with God, I could say that I am His son.

I don't belong to any church.
And Jesus is my big brother.

    Welcome Ves,
Don't let either side get to you. State your case and listen to the responses.
Some may be enlightening, some may be funny and some may seem to be judgemental,
    but all can be entertaining.

    Tim

Good advice! Thank you, Tim! :)

Stuart, true non-believers are so rarely met nowadays!
I am really honored to speak with you! :)
Althought you also believe in something like Big Boom, don't you? Inspite of the fact that you never seen it. :)

I think christians stand blind near the elephant and remark on the huge long neck, tiny ears and giant pinscers they think they can feel.

    Stuart

Stuart, what makes you think that you are less blind than Christians?
Science will never be able to axplain everything in the world. :)

    Hi VestnikRA

We make our own meaning for our lives, somewhat within the limits of our genetics and upbringing.

That is true for everyone here, whether they have chosen a religious meaning or not.

    Stuart

Stuart, I agree with you here.
That's why I hope to hear different answers from different people. :)

Actually that was very personal question – What's your predestination? I was wondering if anybody know their true predestination?
Please reply in a few words of your own without quoting Bible or any other sources.
