No, likely he meant the death. You know why Peter feared this? Because the real King Messiah was not supposed to die, at least not until the messianic age was ushered in. But since Peter knew Jesus died, why would he be baffled if the body was missing?

Quote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 07 2008,15:47)Hi Tow, To you?Are you speaking of the God Who showed His ways in the OT? O. I remember you cut those verses out of your bible when you were designing a god.Yes that G-d. Even if I were to accept some of the barbaric things attributed to YHVH in Tanakh, you never see where He will watch as people are…[Read more]

So basically Revelation says this: if you accept the mark because you don't know better and want to eat, your punishment for doing so is to be tormented for an eternity. Niiiiiiiiccccccceeeeeee.

Mat 16:21  From that time Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and on the third day be raised. Mat 16:22  And Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This shall never happen to y…[Read more]

No Nick Twister, I said I call them stupid as you characterize them. You say they could not understand it.If I told you I was going to be killed but raised 3 days later would you believe me? No. But what if three days later my body was gone? Would you cat as if you never heard me say what I did? That is what the disciples did according to GJohn,…[Read more]

So what IS the new heaven and new earth in Isa 65 then Nick? Are you staying with the idea that it is merely a reflection?

As usual, you have nothing to say in defense Nick. You can read the words the same as me, and you can see where Jesus revels in seeing people tormented for an eternity when you never see the same in Tanakh.

So just as the GT says the Torah is old and outdated, merely a shadow, the new heaven and new earth is but a reflection, a poor replica, of the same in Rev 21? You surely like to rob the Tanakh, and also the Jews, of their whole future.

Please take note that while you seeing people dying in Tanakh for wickedness, you never once see where these people will be tormented for an eternity while YHVH looks on. Yet in the GT, Jesus watches as people are burned with fire and sulfur forever and ever.Really, who is evil now?

Son of Light says YHVH is an evil angel and that Jesus is the son of another god. Jesus' father is good and about love. Let's test that and see if this matches a so-called “god of love”.Rev 14:9 And another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or…[Read more]

  • Profile picture of Towshab

Christians try to say Isaiah 53 is about Jesus, yet neither Jesus nor his apostles tried to make the same claim. The same could be said of Isa 9:6. Look over Isaiah 53. All of it speaks of a rejected and despised person. Yet the stripes of this person heals those who despise him. I must ask, how does this fit Christian theology? Because according…[Read more]
