Really? Jesus never made any inferences? So it wasn't an inference when He concluded that there would be a resurrection of the dead based on “I am the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?” Granted that was a superb inference, but by your own standards it's still an inference. For the Scripture is explicit that three are God, and God is one. And…[Read more]

t8,Your translation of 1 Corinthians 15:27 supplies a few words that aren't in the Greek, namely, “God” and “Christ.” The Greek says: “For all things He subjected under the feet of Him. But when He says that all things have been subjected, clear that excepted, the one having subjected to Him all things.”So where you write, “God Himself,” it…[Read more]

Ken,He's called the Helper. Parakletos. A helper is a person. What about Acts 13:2? The Spirit calls Himself “I” and “Me.”And the Spirit has His own initiative. John 16:13. Ken, you're so close to the Trinitarian faith. Why don't you just admit that you've made some interpretive mistakes, and get on board with the church?Tim

Nick,For all your claims to follow Sola Scriptura, your “all truth in one verse” requirement is the most absurd thing I've ever heard.News Flash Nick: the original writers didn't put the verses in! Verses weren't added until the fifteenth century. http://scripturessay.com/article.php?cat=&id=383But Nick, since you don't argue with the fact that…[Read more]

Once again Nick, if you can't defeat Trinitarianism, you pretend it's modalism. I agree. Modalism isn't true. But I believe in the Trinity. Three persons are God. The Son took on flesh and worshipped the Father, to show His adopted brethren how to worship God in spirit and truth. The Son also directed worship to Himself. John 5:23. And He…[Read more]

Nick,That makes no sense. I've given you proof from Scripture that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are God, and your only response is that this is stated in more than one verse? Are you serious?

Yes Nick. I believe we should follow Jesus in worshipping His God. We agree. It just so happens that Jesus is not only a man who leads us in worship of God, but He is also God. Pretty amazing right?

You mean abuse it by imposing arbitrary verses on it and then insisting that every point of doctrine be found in one of these arbitrary verses?

Hi Nick,The Son is equal to the Father. They are one. They are God. (John 17:3, John 20:28). The Son chose not to give up His equality with the Father by becoming a man, a servant, and obeying the Father to the point of death on the cross.Tim

Because He did not count equality with God something to be grasped, but humbled Himself and was found in the form of a servant.

Hi Nick,Surely you agree that whatever Scripture says is true, right? Does God have to repeat himself 2 or 3 times for you? So if Scripture says that the Father is God, then the Father is God. And if Scripture says the Son is god, then the Son is God. And if Scripture says the Holy Spirit is God, then the Holy Spirit is God. Since you agree…[Read more]
