July 2, 2011 at 9:05 am#250640RenaParticipantKerwin,
Im probably going way off topic. So what ill do – is leave it for now, and if your ever interested, theres a thread on the rapture and the millenium here;

Ok?
July 1, 2011 at 7:03 pm#250587RenaParticipantMike, I was thinking,
“Now it happened on the day when God's sons came to present themselves before Yahweh, that Satan also came among them.” – Job 1:6
This is Angels.
You said that because they presented themself before God then God must have a body of some kind, ok,
When Man prays, they present themself to God in prayer, true?
So when people all over the world present themself before God in prayer, all at the same time, in all different locations, it would make more sense that God is spirit, as it says, and doesnt nessesarily mean God has a body and is in one place for us to present ourselves before him.July 1, 2011 at 10:33 am#250544RenaParticipantQuote (Istari @ July 01 2011,19:40) Ah Mikeybolls,
What trash are you dragging up now…The Does not qualify anything you said. They are opinions from others.
You did a poll – what did it achieve – nothing except that more people voted than take part – strange – why do they not participate?
Istari, I didnt vote in any poll, just in case you were wondering. Well not that poll.July 1, 2011 at 8:05 am#250534RenaParticipantEd, when I die. Though its partly in me now. Especially when I obey God. But not fully untill our time is up, on this world. Then we will return to the loving care of our Father.
July 1, 2011 at 7:56 am#250532RenaParticipantEd, He GOES to prepare a place for us.

Hi Rena,Matt.6:20-21 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven,
where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not
break through nor steal: For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.God bless

Gods kingdom is not of this earth.July 1, 2011 at 7:53 am#250529RenaParticipantQuote (Ed J @ July 01 2011,19:27) Quote (Rena @ July 01 2011,18:16) Ed, Matt 6:10 – “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven” Thy will be done as it is heaven – this is obeying God, now, today. This is the “Millenium” age now.
But Satan has been or will be let lose and will decieve the nations once more and gather them to war, and then the sun of righteousness will rise, the day that will come burning like an oven, the sign of the coming of Jesus.God is not here with men yet Ed. God cant dwell with sin. The Holy Sprit of God is here now.
Hi Rena,Then remove the sin from your life!
The Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither
knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. (John 14:17)
The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here!
or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you. (Luke 17:20-21)God bless
Ed J (Joshua 22:34)

Ed, I agree with the sin part, and I agree that the Spirit of truth is within us.Jesus said in Luke that the kingdom of God is within you, or in the midst of you – in my Bible.
But then Jesus goes on to say -“They will say to you – 'Lo here or Lo there' – Do not go, do not follow them…For as the lightning flashes and lights up the sky from one side to the other, so will the Son of man be in his day.”
And then it goes on to say that it shall be as in the days of Noah, untill Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them.
Just like in 2nd Peter 3, it says, as the world was destroyed by water, it will be destroyed by fire.
This hasn't happened yet Ed.

July 1, 2011 at 7:04 am#250521RenaParticipantEd,
God is in heaven, as we are told to pray to our Father in Heaven.
But God works in us through the Spirit.
The Spirit worked in Jesus too.
But the Day of the Lord will come burning like an oven.
Those who are loved by God, will be ok. The others wont be.July 1, 2011 at 6:57 am#250519RenaParticipantBack to your numbers and colors Ed?
Ed, the Holy Spirit is here, but the actual return of Jesus (day of the Lord) is still future.
July 1, 2011 at 6:50 am#250518RenaParticipant66:23 From new moon to new moon, and from sabbath to sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before me, says the LORD.
Kerwin, further, I believe this is meaning 'all flesh' as in people of all nations – from new moon to new moon, and sabbath to sabbath, is obviously about today. From the spreading of the Gospel to all the world.
July 1, 2011 at 6:31 am#250516RenaParticipantOk Kathi, thanks for your response…hmmm, still a bit confusing to me, though. I'll keep reading!
July 1, 2011 at 6:26 am#250515RenaParticipantEd, I know.
Do you believe in a future – temporary – thousand year Millenium? Only for Satan to be let lose again?
July 1, 2011 at 6:14 am#250514RenaParticipantHi Kerwin.
Quote Could you please let me know what book and chapter you are citing as you seem to be using a version unfamiliar to my search methods. If you could also include the version it would aid me. Thank you. I'm using my own Bible, the Revised Standard Edition, available online here:
http://www.biblestudytools.com/rsv/isaiah/66.html
For the past year, I'v relied on Internet Bibles. Now I'm opening up my own Bible, and theres something better with that.
The way I used to do things is, I read and understood, and I never cared much what anyone else thought things meant.
So I'm going back to that.
Quote As for Isaia 66, verse 19 covers the from time Jesus was conceived as a sign to the preaching of the gospel all nations but it is part of God's plan to call all his people of all nations and tongues to him at “Jerusalem” which is the what the Messianic Age, 1000 years, is about. When do you believe the '1000 years' is? Now or future?
Quote In verses 22 the new earth and the new heaven are mentioned and the lake of fire a synomyn for what occurs to those that transgressed against God as they are the wicked thrown into Gehenna. Verse 22 is about now, and also the gift of eternal life.
66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth which I will make shall remain before me, says the LORD; so shall your descendants and your name remain.
66:23 From new moon to new moon, and from sabbath to sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before me, says the LORD.66:24 And they shall go forth and look on the dead bodies of the men that have rebelled against me; for their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall
be an abhorrence to all flesh.”Quote Jesus quotes from verse 22 three times in the following teaching.
Mark 9King James Version (KJV)
43And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
44Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
45And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
46Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
47And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
48Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
A reminder of what will happen, the fire of the second death.
Thats how I'm seeing it anyway.
But I'm Amillenial.
July 1, 2011 at 5:19 am#250509RenaParticipantOK Ed.
Thankyou for answering.
July 1, 2011 at 5:11 am#250507RenaParticipantKathi, how come Jesus said – “Why do you call me good? No one is good except one–God.”
I don't understand the Trinity, and I dont know anything about the earlier Trinity that you speak of. But I'm curious about this one verse and others.July 1, 2011 at 12:29 am#250477RenaParticipantI think anyone willing to stick around and debate over this will only be led to confusion.
I'm not talking only about this thread either.
God gave us a gift and that gift is freedom, joy, love, and God.
“You search the scriptures thinking in them you will find eternal life, but it is these that speak of me”
People think, here, in this forum, that if they search and find who or what God is, they think if they have found God to be a Trinity or other thing, then they think they have found eternal life. But they don't know that God searches the HEART and MIND of a man and woman and knows more than you could imagine.
Every little detail, every little thought is not hidden, but revealed.
Finding all the secrets out does not lead to God who is spirit.
If you dont accept the gift God has given, and accept WHAT he has given to you, and search for MORE, wanting more, then who are you relying on? Truth or error?
