The Father tells us that Jesus is the first of many brothers…..WE follow. That is pretty clear, is it not?

I think the Catholic Church has as much genuine authority from God as any local church has.But the Catholic Church members didn't define the canon, did they?  If they were under the inspiration of God, then any idiot would do. What God wanted accomplished would certainly be accomplished.

Yes, we are not all called to teach. We were not all called to be the begotten of God.But this seems to be a different issue.Jesus is our brother. Scriptures can be quoted where he is saying, “My Father, and your Father….”. We are family.

Again, I disagree.Our inheritence is given by our heavenly Father – not Jesus! Jesus shares in the inheritence. We are co-heirs.After Jesus became the firstborn from the dead……we will follow…..his brothers. All of us, God's children.

Jesus is the great Teacher, of course.But his Lordship was in place before he was even able to talk….Adherence to his teachings brings blessings (and more stable dwellings) of course.
