Hey Kenrch,Common sense says a principle must apply to all in the same manner unless stated or you create loop holes of justice. If it does not then where do you draw a line, and how far can you dodge or stretch that principle. This just proves that salvation is without baptism. What if someone was thinking about coming to Christ, his thoughts were…[Read more]

Question:Is the soul of man immortal and therefore the body that gains immortality at the ressurection; or is the soul of man mortal and needs resurrection in the last days. Only God has immortality in himself we are taught in 1 Tim 6.I have been trying to understand this concept, for if we have an immortal soul then we can never truly die? We…[Read more]

Hey Nick, So what purpose has Baptism got to do in our lives to you… Is it a command that we should follow, a submission thing or is it actually something that saves us. Is it a symbolic action to show that Jesus is Lord of out lives or an actual necessity to the salvation process?Just trying to understand how it has anything to do with our…[Read more]

Hey Nick So you believe in eternal sonship then? If so then please give me your understanding…If he already was, and then he all ready is and cannot be like me in everyway. If he began when the Power of the the most High overshadowed Mary then I can see how he was made like us. ie like the first Adam… Adam was of the dust. I struggle to see…[Read more]

In light of the old baptism pointing to the new, consider these verses:Hebrews 7:18-19(18) The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless(19) (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.How was the Mosaic Law “weak and useless”? Only in the sense that it could not “cl…[Read more]

Hey Nick,I am not too sure I agree that they rely on the OT and bring doubts on the NT. So far all the writings i have read have a large amount of scripture from the NT. As I am not a scholar in Greek or Hebrew, I find it hard to know if some of the word uses and sentence restructuring is correct.I would be very interested to know what your belief…[Read more]

Hey Outlaw,I presume by “full of $%^&” you mean full of not a lot of nice things… as in the words of the tintin comics – blue blistering barnicles – So do you think that baptism saves us… how do you see that it is important to us today. Is it necessary to our salvation or is it just symbolic, if it is necessary to our salvation, then a heck of…[Read more]

Hi RR & WIT,Just a quick question, How could Jesus have been born without sin if he was born of man?Or is the “Original Sin” doctrine another of the man made doctrines? Was Jesus the perfect, spotless Lamb of God who died for the sin of the world in your view, or is salvation by some other way, like obedience to the Law or the Word of Christ?

Baptism is not specified so it is water baptism…How can you be sure of that Nick?Jesus said you must be born again “of water and the Spirit”… then what about confessing Jesus as Lord, accepting his message, doing as he commands:SO without water baptism – you cant be born again in your view? Well then there is a lot of people who will be in for…[Read more]

Nick they believe in baptism but not water baptism… as far as i understand water baptism is of the old testament times, ceremonial cleansing but it has been surpassed by being baptised into Jesus… he would baptize with holy sprit and fire… the one baptism spoken about by Paul in Ephesians 4:5It speaks of the cleansing of the inward man,…[Read more]

Hey Nick,Your'e so right, true every day is the Lord's, but not every day is set aside as a Holy rest day. Malcom, Thanks for that… I see what you are saying but that sounds no different to the law in the OT… did they live faithfully by the law… by no means – did they do everything right, by no means – did they get judged for not obeying, in most instances no, does it mean that they all perished and will not make the resurrection… I don't think…[Read more]

In dying for our sins, did Jesus become the “curse” for us? He was perfect, and like the passover lamb he died in the place of those that should face death, which he attoned, once and for all for our sins. Why would he have to become a curse to do this. I can't find it said that the sacrificial lamb was a “cursed” sacrifice – but it was offered in…[Read more]
