By foreordained I mean the same as preordained in which case we are chosen before the foundation of the world.So in some sense we are born sons of God and predestined to be saved.Of course this doesn’t make us Christ but that body or even bride of Christ.

So looking at it spiritually our foreordination in heaven parallels  to Bethlehem while our choice to be born again or baptism parallels to Jordan.
