Ed, I went through a small stage a while back of thinking (due to those verse of Jesus saying that HE would come (after saying that the Holy Spirit would come) of thinking that Jesus was the Holy Spirit. Just saying.

Actually, I think I did experience the Holy Spirit as a teenager. I was completely healed from my darkness. But I become lost for a long time, before I was 'brought back'.

Perhaps the reason you are so confused in basic matters, is because you have not been water baptized? (just a possibility).
