The roman church is not –the — mother of harlots in rev,17.
because the mother of harlots is sitting on the scarlet coloured beast,with the seven heads and ten horns.The roman church is not, in the days of the first head (egypt)and the second head(syria), and the third head(babylon), and the fourth head(medo persia),and the fifth head (greecia),and the sixth head(rome),untill king constatine ruled.The roman church only started in the yr 330 ad.
The mother of harlots has daughters; and they are all kinds of religions,since the beginning of mans kingdom.
Since the gospel has been preached,the christian churches has become the daughters of babylon,in the name of christians. One can not tell the difference between a christian and a non christian IN DEEDS;accept the christians go to church, and the non christians go to the horse race or the pub.

So there you go: this world has bewitched us with her delicacies and luxuries,to make us forget The creator.

You are close, the RCC had its beginning in 324 AD.NO, the harlots are all the different denomination of Christian churches.
It was the RCC that would not allow any one reading the Bible, enforced by death.

Today, all areas of that Beast are dominated by Islam if you consider Constantinople.
Catholicism is the dominant religion in the world and is represented in every country and has over 1 billion adherents.The RCC had its beginnings in the Roman Empire and it was that empire that propped it up.
It could be all religions, it could be the RCC and daughters, it could be Islam.
On the outset, the RCC seems to fit the description best and it certainly has a history or persecuting those who sought truth over controlled religion and killed many who did not adhere to her.

“Woman” is symbolic for church or religious organization; the fact that the woman is sitting on all seven heads shows, religion has influenced all kingdoms/governments.
