May 27, 2019 at 11:16 am#845662Ed JParticipantHi Ed J and t8,
God’s creation tells you that to be a HUMAN of which Jesus is called multiple time means that you are made from a human male sperm and a human female egg united together. You cannot be an actual man or huMAN if these TWO are not joined together,Hi Jodi,
Your belief seems to be at odds with these Scripture. How do you account for this?
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Matthew 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost.Hi Jodi,
Your words are a bit confusing, Jesus conception could not be a product of Joseph’s sperm
and Mary’s conception also be a virgin conception. To me these both cannot be true. This is what I want you to explain, because to me they seem like apposing ideas.
Thank you

Ed JMay 27, 2019 at 11:22 am#845663Ed JParticipantEdj….Emanuel, was a “name” given a son of Isaiah, which was a “sign” given to the king of Judah, to show him that God was “with him”. It was never meant the person with that name himself was GOD. Jesus was also a “sign” from GOD, that GOD is “with us”. HE was “in” THE MAN JESUS, via the Holy Spirit, reconciling the world unto himself. But none of that ever made Jesus, God himself.
But this is a good example of how you people twist scriptures to try to make them say what in fact do not say..
Peace and love to you and yours. ………gene
Once again you are only tooting your own horn. Why don’t you engage in what others are saying? Do you not have a “Free Will”?

Hi Jodi,
In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;
1. Before time began God promised eternal life? Yes or No?
No, the promise was made to us after the world began

Hebrews 5:9 and being made perfect he became the source of eternal salvation to all who obey him,
2. By Jesus being MADE perfect, he became the source for our salvation? Yes or No?
Yes, Jesus was made perfect ai his conception, not at some later time
May 27, 2019 at 11:37 am#845666Ed JParticipantHi Jody,
So you claim John 17:5 is wrong? What do you say it ‘should’ say then?
John 17:5
“And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.”
Jody, I’m not interested in you explaining what you believe other versus mean, or what you believe the Bible means in general. Please explain only John 17:5 to us all, as it appears to be contradicting what you’re telling us you believe.
Thank you,Ed J
Before the world was, God had established promises, IN God’s word was the Son of Man, and IN that word that Son of Man HAD GLORY.
The person speaking in John 17 Ed J, IS THAT SON of MAN, and he knew full well the glory that the Son of Man had with God before the world was. Jesus believed God’s PROMISE was true.Hi Jodi,
So the Glory he had was in the form of “a promise”, is this what you are claiming?
Jodi, please answer my question

Hi Jodi,
You appear to be seeking reconciliation, so I’m waving the rule of taking turns to answer forced y/n questions.
Yes, the son of man came down from heaven to do just that…
John 3:13

Hi Jodi,
This is a two part question…
4a Jesus is a son from the man Abraham?
4a yes, through the virgin birth of his mother Mary, who was a descendent of Abraham.
4b he came to the people to seek and to save that which was lost? Yes or No?
Yes

Hi Jodi,
No to this question as asked
This question has too many parts to it, you break it down yourself if you want to find reconciliation wth me…
I waved the right to make you answer my questions in good faith, and I even broke down your questions for you into one part questions, but this one is too convoluted, so you need to break it down if you want a yes answer from me
Don’t make the mistake of assuming you are right and I’m wrong because I answered “no”, because this question like your long posts is to convoluted to understand what point you are trying to make.
I hope I have made myself clear
May 27, 2019 at 12:11 pm#845671JodiParticipantHi Ed J,
Mary became pregnant to a human by the power of the Holy Spirit. God created the egg and the sperm to unite to create another human life.
The son of David who would fulfill all of God’s will, was going to come to us strictly through God’s will and power, by a virgin birth.
God made humans to have an individual genetic code. He made them male and female and had the life of another human be created by receiving half their genetic code one from a female egg and the other from a male sperm, where it is the sperm that decides whether a child is male or female. God can invent all that but He can’t take Mary’s egg and give it what it needs to be a human of the genes of David??
Yes he can and we are told that is what He did. He created a human in Mary’s womb of the offspring of David who was a male.

Hi Jodi,
Your answer is unclear???
Who’s sperm are you assuming God created to have Mary conceive?
1. David’s
2. Joeseph’s
3. Someone else’s? - AuthorPosts
