Hi ND,
Life was IN HIM.
He died and his spirit left him[Mt 27.50]
But the Spirit of Life abides in the sons of God.
He is the firstborn from the dead and we follow him.April 14, 2008 at 10:56 am#87188theodorejParticipantQuote (NewDiscovery @ April 14 2008,08:32) thank you for your replies… I read them and then i wondered this~! why do we have a bible when we dont do as it says?
why do we twist the meanings and make it say something else?SO~! basically the point is we take no notice of what Paul as preaching and teaching.
2 tim 1 v 10.
Quote 2Ti 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called [us] with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began, 2Ti 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:
2Ti 1:11 Whereunto I am appointed a preacher, and an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.
this apointed man taught that
1] Yahuahua Messiah [the anointed Son of God] appeared as our saviour, to save the people from the curse of sin and death originated by Adam and abolished death the rebellion and separation of the people from their Father and so by doing this act revealed immortality.this is the Gospel.~!
who told us how to think?
What system changed this Gospel?
who would have the most to gain from denying the putting off of mortal and putting on immortal, here and now.?the devil.
Greetings ND….Your questions are demanding of an answer as to why….To put it quit simply..The very nature of man is at enmity with God….We would rather do it our way…In closing you bring up an interesting observation in your previous post….that being ….”Evolution is creation in motion”how can you explain the breach in the cycle that rendered the earth void with no life at all until Adam and Eve….April 14, 2008 at 2:31 pm#87206CatoParticipantPerhaps part of the problem stems from looking at the works of men, even inspired and great men, as the unadulterated word of the Almighty. Perhaps we are looking too hard for literal truths from creation myths and allegorical sermons. It seems natural to me that if we are born into flesh that flesh should eventually die, it is not a matter of sin, but biology. The answer to the original question, why if we do such and such, we still die, is either the scripture is wrong or your interpretation of same is off.
April 14, 2008 at 7:22 pm#87228NewDiscoveryParticipantDid Yahushua Messiah eat from the tree of the knowledge of Good and evil?
or
did He eat from the Tree of Life?
Nick
if the tree of Life abides in the Sons of God, how can they die physically?u see we have all been brainwashed by some church belief to have ''death'' as a friend, when infact it is called an enemy.
not only that thru ignorance we all have made a ''covenant' with death.
see
Isa 28 v 15Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves:
we have been lazy, and taken other's advice, rather than studied for ourselves to be approved.
approved for what?
to be the same of being on earth as the Messiah is.
Earth is for people.
Adam blew it
Messiah did not.we can be the 'people of adam who die in sin''
we can be a quickened spirit and made ALIVE FROM THE DEAD, in the Power of The Everlasting Father.everlasting Father has evelasting children.
not dead in sin….with their wages paid out in faull via their tomb.think about it.
April 14, 2008 at 7:31 pm#87230NickHassanParticipantHi ND,
Because the flesh and it's origin, soil, is cursed.
Gen 3
17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;18Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;
19In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.

Jesus was a son of Adam[man]through Mary.
He partook of our estate and his flesh inherited our death.April 15, 2008 at 4:36 am#87363NewDiscoveryParticipantZao -John 11 v 24-25-26

active, blessed,
endless in the kingdom of Godendless…..endless life in the Kingdom of God.
Who has endless life ?
wow this is so good i love revelations.ok
Heb 7 tells us all about this endless life priesthood… and this endless form of LIFE stems from the conversation between Martha and Yahushua at He raising of Lazarus
Quote
Jhn 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.Jhn 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Jhn 11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

These believers never run out of the BREATH OF LIFE…..THEY ARE ALWAYS BREATHING IN THE AIR OF LIFE.
is THAT good or is that good~!
this world never runs out of air…..nowhere is there ever a shortage of air, nor does a believer, redeemed into the priesthood of ENDLESS LIFE.
wow.~! for ZAO~!
now for another description.
Quote
to have true life and worthy of the namesee that~! TRUE LIFE
see that~ worthy of the name
– name means the full character of
…wow….
to be worthy of the full character of….to be worthy of the full character – is – worthy of the fullness of Christ.
ok
worthy of this?
here it all is summed up – A BELIEVER IS WORTHY OF

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom.
The waters of life go beyond the grave where our flesh would be an impediment.
Fear of death replaced by joy and irrepressible hope.Should the caterpillar not become a butterfly?

flesh and blood cannot inherit.
yes,
but
what is flesh and blood? – IT IS typed as an unregenerated man under the fallen nature of AdamMessiah Yahushua was flesh and blood, yet HE IS, the Kingdom Life.
It all depends on how to the Holy Spirit opens up a believer's understanding u see.
considerFlesh and Blood was IN Christ YET HE STILL WALKED IN THE FULLNESS OF THE SPIRIT…. even in a human body.
He walked in LIFE IN THE SPIRIT,-the Holy Spirit teaches a Believer how to do this too.
Plus!!!!
that is the position of His Sons -WALKING IN THE SPIRIT OF LIFE.LIFE IN THE SPIRIT, stops vanity from working u see,
Yahushua was more than happy to reveal Himself to eye witnesses, walking on earth in as a perfected person
See Math 17 for details of the TransfigurationSEE the change?
here is metamorphoo on earth.
He had entered into REAL LIFE…rather than the sham/illusion of this material world under vanity.now HE was not dead was He?
see !one does not have to die in sin and rot in their grave to ''go to heaven'' hey?
if they are dead in sin, and paid for it by their death- why would they find this heaven of yours enjoyable?
they would hate it.
They were unable to obey [John 14 v 20] here, what different would their death make….some majic fairy godmaother wand thingy appears and swissssh sin no more cuz u died.
NO way Hosea.HEAVEN IS RIGHT HERE – it is the realm of Throne Rulership and not a location. It is to be BORN INTO according to the NT
people in their graves got there from sin.
The bible is sincere on this point of reaping and sowing.the flesh of the perfect Christ is never an impediment.
the flesh of the religious carnalminded is.that is the difference.
how can one die…when a believer is asked [here on earth -today and now] TO GO ON
INTO
PERFECTION??
April 15, 2008 at 10:01 pm#87498NickHassanParticipantHi ND,
Paul referred to the condemned body as the BODY OF DEATHRomans 7:
17Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.18For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
The flesh cannot be saved but is replaced.
The inner man is saved and not the outer of dust.
It is of earth and this sin imbued earth is passing awayApril 15, 2008 at 10:48 pm#87508NewDiscoveryParticipantyeS that is true too.
this body of death is the habitation FOR the carnal mind.
messiah did not seem to have this body, therefore HE IS THE LIFE, and the master over all death~!was his body a ''body of death?''
ofcourse not
did you see the real Messiah described in Math 17 ? on the MT of transfiguration! was this ''the body of death''?ofcourse not.
yahushua has the body of the 2 nd adam – the life in the Spirit fills HIM, with the fullness of the power of God called [Christ]
a believer is taught this by the Holy Spirit!
how to put off the perishing and put on the imperishable! here and now for it is far too late in the grave for corruption has been in evidence, now consider please
the verses about
GOING ON INTO PERFECTION…. here and now
do u think perfection dies from sin and death?
or
do you think a believer has actually 'gone into perfection'' to become the Hope of Glory?again
A believer dies TO sin [by picking up their cross daily and being metamorphoo-ed here on earth
or
the religious DIE ''''ÍN'''''' sin and the truth never has found a home within their lives otherwise they would be FREE from the fallen nature.for another thought.
did you ever notice that Enoch ''walked with God'' and again it is noted ''he was not, for he was ''WELL PLEASING''
his transformation/translation was all because by faith Enoch became WELL PLEASING.
infact these same words are used by father over His dear Son on the mt. of transfiruration that day.
well pleasing and transfiguration go together….. not for the tomb but FOR THE DISPLAYING OF DIVINE LIFE..
how how good is that – i do hope this has edified your heart amen
pray to be this WELL PLEASING. AMENApril 18, 2008 at 10:09 pm#87774NewDiscoveryParticipantthe church people die for they do not have the divine ability to say NO! to their fallen natures.
May 15, 2008 at 5:13 am#89129ShaniaParticipantHi NewDiscovery!
I am kinda confused at what you are trying to say… but here is what I can offer:
Heb 9:27-28
27 Just as man is destined to die once , and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.
NIVThis is Paul talking in Hebrews, stating that it is destined for man to die once, and then face judgement. That is present tense. That means that physical death is still destined….
Ok.. I am sure you are familiar with this passage, but let's walk through it:
1 Cor 15:12-28
12 But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? 13 If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. 14 And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
…Wow! this is really important. Believing in the resurrection is key to salvation. Why?….
15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins . 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost. 19 If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.
-If Messiah was not raised then we are still in our sins. You see, His resurrection had to do with overcoming sin. Death had no hold on him because there was no sin in Him… The wages of sin is death, but there was no sin in Him, therefore it was “illegal” for him to stay dead… And He did die. He was raised, but make no mistake that He died. His death is what paid the price for our sin. His resurrection is proof of overcoming sin. If He did not die, then He could not be resurrected, and your faith would be futile.
~sidebar~
There had to be a blood sacrifice to atone for sin. Lev 17:11: the life of the flesh is in the blood. This is why they had animal sacrifices, and the day of atonement, once a year. However, it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sin. [see Hebrews 10]. Death came through a man. Man broke the contract. It would take a man to restore the contract….20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him. 24 Then the end will come, when he hands over the kingdom to God the Father after he has destroyed all dominion, authority and power. 25 For he must reign until he has put all his enemies under his feet. 26 The last enemy to be destroyed is death.
NIVNick mentioned this earlier… death has not been destroyed yet. It will be, in the end.
We are appointed to die. It is the power of our Father, YHWH, that raises us to life in Messiah Yahushua.
Lets look at something else that Paul wrote:
Phil 3:10-14
10 I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,OK- whoa… He wants to share in Messiah's sufferings? Become like Him in death?!!!
11 and so, somehow , to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
You see, you have to die in order to be resurrected. This is spiritual and physical.. [This is actually what water baptism is a “shadow” of]. Spiritually, you have to die to your old man and your old life. You leave that in the grave [under the water] and you are resurrected and made alive in Messiah.
12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. 13 Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.
NIVThis is awesome! So encouraging! Paul has accomplished MUCH in the Spirit, but he is still running with all his might. You see, we were redeemed to a right relationship with YHWH our Father. [what was lost in the garden] This is through Jesus [Yahushua]. After you recieve salvation, what are you to do with it? YOu were not saved to stay in your sin. You were saved to overcome and be Messiah's ambassador, bringing life to others. This is a process.. you will never “arrive.” [Until you go home]
Another thought.. Paul died.
There is so much that could be written here, but I will stop for now and if you have comments or questions on any of this, they are welcomed.
Much love,
Shania
This is really good.
