Hi Tow,
You are right .
God does not need our help.
He uses puny men to shame the mighty rebellious angels.January 3, 2008 at 2:12 am#160095TowshabParticipantTanakh proof for you assertation please.
January 3, 2008 at 2:14 am#160096NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
You would need the NT.
Old wine is incomplete.January 3, 2008 at 2:20 am#160097TowshabParticipantAny wine conisseur will tell you new wine is inferior. You need to find a different analogy.
January 3, 2008 at 2:27 am#160098NickHassanParticipantHi tow,
If the wine was for your pleasure you would be right.
The new wine is for the pleasure of God
doing His will in us.January 3, 2008 at 2:35 am#160099TowshabParticipantQuote (Nick Hassan @ Jan. 02 2008,20:27) Hi tow,
If the wine was for your pleasure you would be right.
The new wine is for the pleasure of God
doing His will in us.
G-d likes to drink? I was thinking that it was you who like boozing it up because you seemed to lack comprehension.January 3, 2008 at 2:45 am#160100NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
God's will is done.
You can join with Him or refuse.
We am looking forward to sharing the new wine with Christ in the kingdom.January 3, 2008 at 2:49 am#160101TowshabParticipantSo you are looking forward to getting drunk with Jesus? Now your posts become so much clearer.
January 3, 2008 at 2:59 am#160102NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
He can celebrate now but we will rejoice with him in the kingdom.January 3, 2008 at 3:16 am#160103TowshabParticipantWe? See Nick, even you don't believe in this “Members Only” club do ya?
January 3, 2008 at 3:23 am#160104NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
God is merciful.
But please treat His words with respect.
They will teach you one way or another unto life or fire.January 3, 2008 at 3:28 am#160105TowshabParticipantOh no, not fire. That was a favorite way for Christians to kill others: by burning them. How appropriate. Your blood soaked past haunts you Nick.
January 3, 2008 at 3:35 am#160106NickHassanParticipantHi tow,
Fire tests and destroys.January 3, 2008 at 3:39 am#160107TowshabParticipantYes, just like Christians destroyed so many Jews. History DOES record this.
January 3, 2008 at 3:48 am#160108NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
God is the one who uses fire.
Better to be safe in the Son than face His wrath.
The door of Christ is still open but will close and then the fire.January 3, 2008 at 8:09 am#160109TowshabParticipantJust as I said. Christianity is all about fire insurance. Pastors are fire insurance salesmen. They sell policies every Sunday. And people pay for it just like they would pay for any other insurance. Except the payment is called a tithe.
January 3, 2008 at 8:15 am#160110NickHassanParticipantHi tow,
We are just folk who have become aware of our inadequacies and found the Saviour sent by God who has given us the words of life. There is no better choice than to listen to him. God sent him and that is enough for us.January 3, 2008 at 8:17 am#160111TowshabParticipantYou hear voices? They make medication for that.
January 3, 2008 at 8:22 am#160112NickHassanParticipantHi Tow,
The voice of God is heard in the recorded teachings of His Son.January 3, 2008 at 12:37 pm#160113TowshabParticipantLike I asked, which god, Zeus or Jupiter? Because the sayings of Jesus didn't match the ones of YHVH. More buddhism than Judaism.
Is that how the OT is incomplete Nick? Did G-d want to add other religious ideals into the mix? Mithraism, Buddhism, Hindu, Zoroasterianism? Since virgin birth and death-rebirth is foreign to Tanakh but was prevalent in pagan religions, I guess G-d was jealous and decided to experiment with that too.
Now it all becomes so clear.
Please.
