Hi davidl,
If you believed your bible you would know that trinity is a falsehood added by men.
June 10, 2015 at 9:02 am#799302DavidLParticipantAddress the subject and stop fouling the site with your accusations.
You are old enough to know better.June 10, 2015 at 9:28 am#799311NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
This site is for scripture study.
Why would you try to add a trinity of man to the fare?
June 10, 2015 at 9:40 am#799313DavidLParticipantScripture alone is not enough – you need a revelation
The Pharisees had Scriptures coming out their ears
unfortunately it never improved their hearing any..
June 10, 2015 at 9:46 am#799319NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
Indeed you claim NEW revelations.
But they are from the minds of the deceived yet you own them too?
June 10, 2015 at 9:59 am#799327DavidLParticipantYou have another light that does not reflect truth.
Make sure the light in you is not darkness
for O how deep that darkness can be.June 10, 2015 at 10:02 am#799328NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
We have the scriptures as a reference point
but you only stand on the ideas of men yet you
offer scriptures to us that refer to your situation?
June 10, 2015 at 10:09 am#799331DavidLParticipantYou apply your own understanding to the sacred words.
It satisfies your mind but is far from a spiritual view.June 10, 2015 at 10:15 am#799335NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
Drink water from your own cistern.
Men have befouled what you offer.
June 10, 2015 at 10:30 am#799342DavidLParticipantGod’s Word is pure
but your thinking is corrupted
June 10, 2015 at 10:58 am#799347NickHassanParticipantHi Davidl,
Yes the words of God are pure.
But you offer the teachings of men.
June 13, 2015 at 9:46 am#799463DavidLParticipantDidn’t you ask…
Do you not yet know the Father and the Son
in the One Holy Spirit?“Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of Himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come. He shall glorify Me: for He shall receive of Mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are Mine: therefore said I, that He shall take of Mine, and shall shew it unto you.” – John 16
How can you, who believes in the Spirit, and claims to know the Father and the Son in the One Holy Spirit – deny the Unity of Father, Son and Spirit, which the Spirit Himself reveals..??
June 13, 2015 at 10:40 am#799471kerwinParticipantDavidL,
How can you deny the unity of the Father, Son, Spirit, and believers?
Is it inconvenient to include believers in the Unity as you have not been taught they also one with God and Jesus?
Have you been taught to live by Spirit and so bear it fruit even as God and Jesus both bear its fruit?
June 13, 2015 at 10:50 am#799473kerwinParticipantDavidL,
The reason to challenge the Trinity Doctrine is that it is a false teaching that creates an obstacle to those that seek the truth. It also serves to sooth the itching ears of those that love darkness and do not want to come into the light because they do not hunger and thirst for righteousness.
There is nothing more to say on the issue.
June 13, 2015 at 11:54 am#799484NickHassanParticipantHi davidl,
In the Holy Spirit of God men can know the Father and the Son.
But if your god is Babylonian trinity it is impossible.
June 15, 2015 at 6:54 am#799551DavidLParticipantKerwin
The reason to challenge the Trinity Doctrine is that it is a false teaching that creates an obstacle to those that seek the truth
The only obstacle is logic which causes you to deny the voice of the Spirit.
Those who are born from above and rely on the Spirit see how the Father, Son and Holy Spirit work together as One..
It is only those who divert back to trusting in their own understanding who stumble on the Trinity Doctrine..
And invariably end up teaching their own cult concepts on the nature of Jesus Christ.
June 15, 2015 at 8:12 am#799561NickHassanParticipantHi Davidl,
The Spirit reminds us of the teachings of Jesus Christ.
He never mentioned any babylonian trinity.
June 15, 2015 at 9:20 am#799569kerwinParticipantDavidL,
The only obstacle is logic which causes you to deny the voice of the Spirit.
This is evidence that you adhere to the traditions of men instead of the word of God as nowhere is it written in Scripture that using logic but instead God use logic himself because it is a form of reason and he challenges us to reason with him. Man can use reasoning based on the nature of this world or the can use reasoning based on the principles of God. God does not condemn reason because it is a form wisdom and wisdom was among the first of his works. He does condemn the wisdom of those that believe they are wise, but are not.
The voice of the Spirit is wise and so uses wisdom and that is why Scripture cannot be broken. Jesus used logical reason to prove the OT testified of the resurrection of the dead. His first premise is the God is not the God of the dead and the second is that he was called the God of Abraham and Isaac even as the bodies of those two fathers and saints laid dead in their burial place. Because those two premises were true and Scripture cannot be broken it follows there is a resurrection of the dead testified in the OT. The logic he use is the fruit of the Spirit.
Jesus is our example of all things; even using logical reasoning to interpret Scriptures.
June 15, 2015 at 9:33 am#799571kerwinParticipantNick,
The Babylonian Trinity is a lie. In my study I have never come accost it. The Greeks had a Trinity of sorts in that Zeus ruled the Heavens, Poseidon ruled the Seas, and Hades ruled the Netherworld. The Romans religion was Grecian in form. Hindus are closer to the Trinity teaching and they were conquered by Alexander, at least in part.
The evidence I have seen reveals an evolution of teachings that began at the truth then became a binity and last became a trinity. The binity sounds more like an a misunderstanding of Egyptian practices with the Pharaoh regarded as the Son of God because he has the Spirit of God in him. Most manuscripts come from Egypt.
June 15, 2015 at 10:32 am#799577NickHassanParticipantHi KW,
Yes God uses reason to draw the greeks.
But reason has not much use when it comes to spiritual matters
