Are you sure it’s “another” T8?
No, I am not sure. I am relying on the English translation without digging into it deeply.
And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever-

allos is pretty much a synonym for another. It may be more like different type. Every translation at biblehub.com translates it as another.

“Jesus said, some will say they know me and I will say to them I never knew you……..it’s kinda like that with you.” And just why should Jesus say that to me? I don’t purport to prophesy,cast out devils,or do miracles in his name. And what of you? do you pretend to know Jesus? or maybe it will just be YHWH that says the same thing to you?

I am not the one that cast out demons, my sister does that. She thinks I have the gift of discerning spirit.
I don’t do prophecy I am not a seer. Miracles surround us every day.

You keep trying to attach a god’s name to me, why is that?
I don’t fear being judged either my dear.And do you think you have the gift of discerning of spirits? one of the gifts the great Christian Saint Paul spoke of? are you teetering on the fence too? do you have that Christian gift or maybe not since it’s Christian?
And I only judge from your posts as to who may be your god,but maybe you have none but yourself .

Jesus does come to us as he states in Jn 14:18 if we received his Spirit; which is God’s Spirit that the Father gave to him.
He is not speaking of his physical presence but of his Spiritual presence. Physically he is still in heaven but Holy Spirit serves as his agent on earth.
It is one of may times that he is speaking of the unity of the Spirit and he expects his hearers to understand. Nick refers to it as the Anointing but I am not sure that is the proper term.
I suspicion he spoke in riddles because he believes that a student that solved them was more likely to remember the lesson. Elsewhere he implies that those that are truly interested in following the gospel will solve them.

Certainly worth considering.
