    2 Samuel 12:7 And Nathan said to David, Thou art the aneer [man]. Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I anointed thee king over Israel, and I delivered thee out of the hand of Saul;

    2 Kings 9:6 And he arose, and went into the house; and he poured the oil on his {Jehu} head, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, I have anointed thee (Jehu) king over the people of the LORD, even over Israel.

    Psalm 45:7 Thou [Jesus] lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

    Hebrews 1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

    AND WHO IS “FELLOW” TO JESUS?
    Psa 55:12 For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him: 13 But it was thou, a ANTHRWPE [man] MINE EQUAL, my guide, and mine acquaintance. 14 We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company.

    Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me [Jesus]; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

    Acts 10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

    2 Corinthians 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God;

    GOD RULES OVER THE AFFAIRS OF MEN
    Jer 27:5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.

    Dan 2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his: 21 And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings:

    Dan 4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

    Dan 4:25 That they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and they shall wet thee with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over thee, till thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

    Dan 4:32 And they shall drive thee from men, and thy dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field: they shall make thee to eat grass as oxen, and seven times shall pass over thee, until thou know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will.

    Dan 5:21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appointeth over it whomsoever he will.

    THE LORD GOD IS NOT THE ONLY LORD OVER MEN
    Isaiah 26:13 O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

    GOD MADE RESURRECTED JESUS BOTH LORD AND CHRIST
    Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, A MAN approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
    23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
    24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

    30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
    31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
    32 This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
    33 Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
    34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

    [Psalm 110:1 Elohim [The LORD] said unto my Adown [Lord], Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.]

    35 Until I make thy foes thy footstool.
    36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.

    Do you know why God made resurrected Jesus both Lord and Christ?

    Paladin,
    You said that God made Christ Lord.

    But God said,

    “Hear O Israel for the LORD your God is ONE Lord.”

    Which is it? Is God the Lord or is Christ the Lord or are there two Lords?  ???

    Hi TT,
    Do you know that Jesus was anointed by God with the Holy Spirit and power?[acts 10.38]
    God is not His own Christ.

    Is Jesus not your lord?
    He should be.

    Hi thethinker:

    Correction. Paladin didn't say that God made Christ Lord, the scriptures say that He did.

    Maybe the following scripture will help your understanding:

    Quote
    Eph 4:4 [There is] one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
    Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
    Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who [is] above all(including Jesus), and through all, and in you all.

    Love in Christ,
    Marty

    Isaiah 26:13 O LORD our God, other lords beside thee have had dominion over us: but by thee only will we make mention of thy name.

    Do you think Isaiah was lying? Or os it remotely possible your presuppositions aobut how many Lords there are may be in error? Oh, right, trinitarian, no chance of error.
