First, let me say I am not a Jehovah's witness (which happens to be the only christian based church without using the Trinity as their foundation), but I did study with them over twentyfive years ago for about 6 months. This is when I first questioned the Trinity. However I wasn't what you would call a practicing christian until about 5 years ago. This Trinity Doctrine has turned my world upside down. My family are non-denomanational and I have had only two or three conversations about questioning the Trinity but I eventually get criticized for my even thinking about questioning the Trinity. I've tried to study scripture that supports the Doctrine but I logicaly feel that it really doesn't. After reading “Heavens Net's” “Is the Trinity Doctyrine taught in the Bible?” I feel there are scriptures that truly support the doctine to be false. For the first time I am thinking, “Maybe God is choosing to reveal to me the real truth, and that's why I have such a problem with the doctrine. Me! Sinful ole me. How fantastic is that and how horrible it would be if I said no to the one and tru God?”
I do have a question, just for research for the truth; What resources are used to say that the Council of Nicea was organized by Constantine and that he was the only one that had the power to make the decision of the trinity?

3.Acts 4:12
And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”The only relevant baptism is in the name of Jesus Christ-see acts
Sadly the false church promotes other baptisms.

“Before the assembling of the council of Nice, Constantine had been persuaded that the Arian doctrine contained a blasphemy against the divinity of Christ, and that the [homoousian] was absolutely required, in order to maintain the dignity of Christ’s person. …. It was nothing but the influence of the emperor Constantine which induced the eastern bishops at the council of Nice to suffer the imposition of a doctrinal formula which they detested and from which, indeed, they sought immediately to relieve themselves.” – Neander’s History of Christianity , Vol. 3, p. 189, Bohn.

Yes a Roman emperor introduces a heresy the false church still cannot shake off.As long as folk trust men more than what is written such will happen
May 13, 2014 at 7:06 am#382003WakeupParticipantJW's dont believe in the trinity, but they teach a more evil thing.
And that is preaching another Jesus, and another gospel.
But these people are so indoctrinated; that they are scared to talk, or to discus scriptures with non jw's.They go after the uninformed only.
I know how they work;they never visit me the second time.
even if they promised.I had long discussions with an elder; a friend, but he is as hard headed. Will not look at video's about the history of the church. But they are quick at criticizing the catholics.
wakeup.
