When I first came back to God I met with different christians and ended up going to a few different church's. As I went to each church I could see good things about them, but I would see things I didn't like or agree with aswell.
One night I was looking up things about the church I was brought up in, i had become so upset and felt so lost because it seemed that no church was the right church. As I went home I became more and more upset it was tearing me up, so as i got into my flat i shut the door and there in the hallway I prayed to God and asked him how am I to know which church is the right church?
As I prayed I had a vision, I was stood in a wilderness and on the horizion in every direction where mountains and then I saw pathways leading away from me in every direction, then i was directed to look straight up and as I looked straight up above me I came out of the vision and was back in the flat, straight away i knew what the vision meant.
I was feeling lost with no home which is why i saw my self in the wilderness, then the mountains where all the different church's and I could have taken any of the paths and it would have lead me straight to one of the mountains, but then I was shown that I needed to look to God and not take any of the other paths.
This happend a few years ago and I stopped worrying about belonging to a man made church, and not long after I googled 'Which church is the right church?' to see what other people thought, which is how i found this site. It took a few years until I was able to join though.

most of us here have felt the same thing ,you will find answers to you need of truth of God on this forum,but not all members are inline with scriptural truth,so test all things ,and again welcome,

The revelation from God our Father to humanity through the Apostle Peter was that Jesus “is the Christ, the Son of the Living God”. Jesus said: “upon this rock, I will build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it”.

But they do not understand what believe means.
They think it means to accept mentally that Jesus is the saviour.
Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains alone.. death is in baptism.New life is from the Spirit

Hi Nick:Let's you and I pray that everyone on this forum will receive revelation knowledge of what it means to believe. Of course, it does not mean just a mental assent. “The devil believes and he trembles”.

NickMany do not even believe the scriptures the way it is written,so they adjusted to their understanding ,
Is it because of their lack of trust in GOD AND HIS SPIRIT ? That they do not receive the spirit of understanding ??

Most intellectualise what is spiritual and do not enter.You must HEAR the gospel and obey it if you want more of anything good.
