Where's Nick?

I don't mean to speak for Nick, but I have been in contact with him since his return from vacation. It is my feeling that he is not coming back. So, if anyone feels led, maybe an encouraging “PM” might be in order? If nothing else, to thank you him for his contributions thus far? We all need encouragement.

Thank you Mandy for letting us know about Nick. I just send Him a P.M. I hope He comes back. He is the only one that had agreed with me on the Covenants, but I don't think He likes to debate to much. I don't know. Tell you the truth Mandy I am getting very tired of it all.
When I heard that Kejonn has been listening to one of our former member of the W.W.Of God, who started with other members and started the United Church of God. Unless He has changed His theology, which I do not believe so. It just made me wonder. I will never follow a men again, I am under the Blood of Jesus and I am staying there.

Haha! Did you know that if He chose to, God could use a drunk to change someone's life? How do you think God works today? Through people, just like He did all throughout the Bible.

So wherever Mr. Dart came from, he still can see truth. Like I said, I don't agree with everything he says (the Spirit helps me discern and then I follow up in the Bible), but he's pretty darn accurate on many things in my opinion.

Look at yourself: recovered from first the Catholic Church and then the WWCoG. Should we discount you because of your past? No! God forgets your past, why should we be concerned with it? So don't judge someone God is using just because you don't like his background.

This is another area where you would do well to study the Old Testament. God rarely used men who did not come from humble beginnings. David was a shepherd! Amos was also a shepherd. Simple men who watched after sheep. But they knew the value in watching over a flock, didn't they? And that is what God wants: people who love the flock.

It could also be said that if we rejected everything that denominations espouse, then we might not have much truth left to work with.

After all, many denominations hold that Jesus is the son of God and we wouldn't want to throw that away just because a dodgy denomination also believes it.

I like to think of it like this: If we have truth in our heart, then when we hear truth, it will agree with what is in our heart.

I think the biggest hurdle that we have as men/woman is our mind because the Kingdom of God is already in our hearts. But our mind needs time to grasp what it is that God has placed in us. But we can of course let the word renew our minds.

It's Debra here, only I have changed my profile and am using Deborah now. My computer crashed and I lost everything including passwords and had to re register because I couldn't get back in. So anyway, I'm happy to hear Nicks ok, and I too wish he would come back, I learn't alot from his posts.
It's nice to be back here again.

The avatar has to be 64 x 64 pixels.

If you resized that image and then put in the URL of your changed image, it would work.

Actually I could make it available as an avatar in your control panel. But it would also be available for others to use.

Just let me know.
