Also you may find that a particular church rather then a particular denomination may be best, as Protestant churches are a decentralized and largely independent group. It may be that you may disagree with one theological point (trinity) yet view all the other aspects of group worship to your liking, and thus tolerate it. I don't think it is an all or nothing choice as those who you agree with on there not being a trinity, you may disagree on other points. As for those who advise just you and your Bible; as a starting point, perhaps not without merit, yet beware of literal interpretations of same. Even with the Bible you must look with heart and head to separate allegory from commandment, parable from history, God inspired from man derived.
