I agree with you Jesus is referring of being humble.and he has given us an example by washing the feet.

Jesus is indeed a master,and the apostles the 12 foundations.
But not elite,maybe this would be the wrong word.

2Th 1:6 God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you
2Th 1:7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.
2Th 1:8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.
2Th 1:9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power

are you going blind;1)all ceremonial feasts are done with this is so clear in scriptures that only blind people do not understand.

Water is symbolic of forgiveness.
The washing of the feet was too.

'The one who has bathed has no need to wash[except for his feet]; he is entirely cleansed..'

We need baptism and we need to seek forgiveness daily.
