The apostles were taught by Jesus for 3years;then after,
they were given the HS.
We need to seek the word of Jesus: the scriptures.
Then;the HS will be given by measure;depending how
much you spend your time in seeking.

The more you seek the more understanding.
The more understanding, the more knowledge gained.
The more knowledge;the more you know the Lord.
The more you know the Lord;the closer to the Lord.

The more time spend on leisure;the less you know the Lord.

Because we will be guided by the scriptures and will not be deceived. The spirit of life is in them.
Our time, thoughts, actions will be consumed with The Word, and learning the Word is to eat Christ's flesh.
We should not be going against the Word, for now we have no excuse. It has been shown to us.

You seem to be against the scriptures, and find no use for them?

In other words you are saying that one must go to a church to be  saved?

So one cannot pick up a bible himself, and feed on the Word, and repent to the Lord in his everyday walk?, no, he must first pick a church, (having no knowledge) and hope he has picked the right one then go through this emersion of water with a man's hand on his head?  He could go to a mormon church or a catholic church?  for he doesn't know the scriptures yet, what they practise and teach, and if the spirit of the Lord is with them? They will hound his soul to stay with that church, and that man will feel indebted to them, and learning their doctrine with his foundation messed up from the start, all the while thinking he is saved?

What you are indeed claiming is for us to depend on man for salvation and totally ignore this scripture;

 Matthew 3:11   I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:

You are not preaching Christ, but man.
