I ,will try to explain that the tribulation in scriptures are or is not an one event thing for the true believers ,
I WILL START WITH THE FOLLOWING SCRIPTURES
MT 24:9 “ Then they will deliver you to tribulation, and will kill you, and you will be hated by all nations because of My name.
MT 24:21 “For then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever will.
MT 24:29 “But immediately after the tribulation of those days THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED, AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT, AND THE STARS WILL FALL from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
MK 13:19 “For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will.
MK 13:24 “But in those days, after that tribulation, THE SUN WILL BE DARKENED AND THE MOON WILL NOT GIVE ITS LIGHT,
JN 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”JESUS TALKS ABOUT THE TRIBULATION THAT THE BELIEVERS WILL GO THROUGH ,AND THAT THE TRIBULATION OF WHICH HE TALKS ARE THE TRIBULATION TO ENDURE BY CHRISTIAN TRUE BELIEVERS ;IN AN OTHER WAY IT IS DIFFICULTIES ,OPPOSITION,OF ALL KIND, TORTURE,EVEN DEAD ,IN A GREAT SCALE WITHIN THE BELIEVERS THAT IS ,
TRIBULATION ARE PART OF THE TRUE BELIEVERS AS PER JESUS WORDS JOHN;16;33
RO 2:9 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek,
RO 5:3 And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance;
RO 8:35 Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
RO 12:12 rejoicing in hope, persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer,
1TH 1:6 You also became imitators of us and of the Lord, having received the word in much tribulation with the joy of the Holy Spirit,PAUL HERE MENTION THAT EVEN THE NON BELIEVERS WILL HAVE TRIBULATIONS FOR THEY WILL COLLECT THEIR OWN WICKEDNESS ,THIS IS NOT THE SAME TRIBULATION FOR ONE IS DESERVED NOT THE OTHER ,BUT JUSTICE IS IN WAIT FOR THOSE WHO PERSEVERE IN CHRIST
REV 7:14 I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
THIS SCRIPTURE ABOVE SHOW THAT THOSE WHO CAME “OUT OF THE GREAT TRIBULATION ” AND WERE STANDING BEFORE THE THRONE HAD THERE ROBE WASHED AND MADE WHITE IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB (CHRIST) IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT THEY COULD NOT DO ALL OF THAT IN A SINGLE EVENT IF IT WAS ONLY ONE EVENT THEN ONLY THOSE WHO ARE PART OF THAT EVENT WOULD THE ONES ,BUT THEN HOW COULD THEY HAVE WASHED THEIR ROBES ?? BUT IT WAS DONE SO,THIS IS WHY THEY WHERE STANDING BEFORE THE THRONE ,SO WE CAN UNDERSTAND AS WHAT IT SAYS BY CHRIST AND PAUL THAT OUR TRIBULATIONS ARE HERE ON EARTH IN THIS WORLD THAT CHRIST SAYS TO OVER COME ,THAT HIS OUR PERSONAL TRIBULATION ,WHAT IS DIFFERENT IN TIME ,IN FORCE ,IN INTENSITY, FOR ANYONE THAT BELIEVE IN GOD AND HIS SON
IN THE OLD TESTAMENT WE CAN READ THAT IT IS THE BEHAVIOR AND RESPOND TO THE WRITTEN WORD OF GOD ,IN THE HEART OF THE LISTENERS ;
The LORD is my portion;
I have promised to keep Your words.
LA 3:24 “The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
“Therefore I have hope in Him.”
ZEC 13:9 “And I will bring the third part through the fire,
Refine them as silver is refined,
And test them as gold is tested.
They will call on My name,
And I will answer them;
I will say, ‘They are My people,’
And they will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’ ”HEB 13:6 so that we confidently say,
“THE LORD IS MY HELPER, I WILL NOT BE AFRAID.
WHAT WILL MAN DO TO ME?”“ The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer;
PS 18:2 The LORD is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
PS 23:1 The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not want.
PS 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the defense of my life;
Whom shall I dread?
PS 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield;
My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped;
Therefore my heart exults,
And with my song I shall thank Him.
PS 118:14 The LORD is my strength and song,
And He has become my salvation.PS 119:11 Your word I have treasured in my heart,
That I may not sin against You.JER 20:9 But if I say, “I will not remember Him
Or speak anymore in His name,”
Then in my heart it becomes like a burning fire
Shut up in my bones;
And I am weary of holding it in,

RO 9:2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart.LIVING TROUGH THE TRIBULATION OF THE LIVING IN THIS WORLD IS LIKE TO WALK THROUGH THE FIRE ;
PS 66:12 You made men ride over our heads;
We went through fire and through water,
Yet You brought us out into a place of abundance.
1CO 3:15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.2Pe 3:11 Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives
IT SEEMS THE SCRIPTURES ARE CLEAR OF WHAT A BELIEVER HAS TO DO TO BE SAVED ,BUT THEN WE HAVE TO WALK THROUGH THE FIRE OF THE WORLD ,MEANING THE ATTACKS,INSULTS ,RIDICULE,TO NAME THE LEAST ARMFUL .IN AND OUT OF OUR OWN FAMILY MEMBERS AND THIS UNTIL THE END OF OUR LIVE IN THIS WORLD ,
those following scriptures show what it takes to walk through the fire of live ;
Pr 2:1 My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
Pr 2:2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding,
Pr 2:3 and if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
Pr 2:4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
Pr 2:5 then you will understand the fear of the LORD
and find the knowledge of God.
Pr 2:6 For the LORD gives wisdom,
and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
Pr 2:7 He holds victory in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
Pr 2:8 for he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones.Pr 2:9 Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path.
Pr 2:10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
Pr 2:11 Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.Pr 2:12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,this is the perfect advice to any son of men

You have failed to explain that there is a *GREAT* tribulation coming. some will loose their heads.You are putting your brothers/sists. asleep spiritually.
As saying; dont worry, we have all gone through tribulations
in our life time.That is all the tribulations we will have.Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them:
***and I saw the souls of them that were *beheaded*
***for the witness of Jesus***,
***and for the word of God***,
***and which had not worshipped the *beast*, neither
his image***,
***neither had received his *mark* upon their
foreheads, or in their hands***;
and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years.Please explain what that tribulation is?

Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
Rev 22:16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”SEE THAT ALL IS RELATED TO OUR BEHAVIOR THE CHANGES THAT WILL BRING IN US A BORN AGAIN SOUL WORTHY TO RECEIVE EVERLASTING LIVE AFTER PASSING THROUGH THE FIRE IN A VICTORIOUS WAY APPROVE BY GOD ,
Rev 7:14 I answered, “Sir, you know.”

If that is not a great tribulation, then what is that?

wwhat I see without preset mind ideas is different than what you see with your preset minded views
Yes we do go through tribulations and history testifies to that. But we are spared the judgements that God pours out on the wicked as testified by John.
Matthew 24:29-31
“Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
