I have heard it said, by trinitarians, that Jesus 'gave up' his position and came down to earth to become a man and die for us. If God is made up of three persons but one of them left coming down to earth to be a man, then what happened to God during that time?
October 7, 2009 at 4:14 am#149107terrariccaParticipantall organised religions are a like they have, like the pharician and doctor of the law and others in Jesus time a certain knowlege of the scriptures but very little understanding and always an bias view between God view and theyre own views on certain subjects, all the division came because people put theyr personnal ego in front of Gods interest, practice of thrue love is biulding assets in Gods kingdom not in this one,so like Paul said those discution are vain and not usefull and do not fullfill any purpose in God way.The reason is that those people also have God holly book in theyre hands but dont want to change theyre ways, they looking fo the glory of man, apply it has it is rwitten and please God and Christ and by doing so take full advantage of is sacrifise .

he said evry man should at least ones in is live time put all is aquired knowlege in doubt and proof in thru.
the very reason to this is that he found out that we carry an load of lies in our brain, given on by parents, theachers ,frients ,books ect.January 4, 2010 at 3:26 am#168470ashermoshehthreepointonefourParticipantQuote (Jodi Lee @ Oct. 06 2009,09:31) I have heard it said, by trinitarians, that Jesus 'gave up' his position and came down to earth to become a man and die for us. It is irrelevant because Yeshua was not G-d. The G-d of the Bible is absolutely singular containing no plurality whatsoever.January 5, 2010 at 3:44 am#168685bananaParticipantQuote (Jodi Lee @ Oct. 06 2009,09:31) I have heard it said, by trinitarians, that Jesus 'gave up' his position and came down to earth to become a man and die for us. Jodi LeeEver wonder why Jesus said he was the beginning of God's creation?
Rev 3:14 ¶ And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
If you were in a ceramic class, and you made a whole bunch of figures; some one ask you, which one was the first, the beginning of your creation? would you not point to the first one you had made?
Some times our thinking, or as terraricca said, what we have learned from our parents, and have become accustomed to, will keep us from believing the truth.
If Jesus was God, he would have been immortal, that means, death is impossible; so how could he have died for us?
Jesus did not give up his position, his position was “God's Son”, he gave up his nature, “spirit nature”; spirit beings can not die, at least not by us.
Do you know what a ransom is?Georg

the bible also says that jesus is eternal.
the bible says that god's words created all . EX:( and god said let there be light)
jesus was brought forth by his spirit not from man, and thus given the spirit to be the word and wisdom of god. he is a way that god had communicated to mankind.god has done this many times before. god has come to man in burning bush, as angel in dreams, to man as angel etc.
not the invisible god, source of all but his means of communication. god has been in more places than one ans scripture shows it.
god's written laws and his words were manifested from his spririt into a flesh man called jesus. he did god's will and spoke his words. that is all he knew and stressed this many times. that he and god were one, were in each other, he could only do god's will etc..
there is unity. i don't think that jesus was the invisible god in itself but a way for god to communticate. either way it was/is of god. the nature and word's and works were of god himself.
there is unity and nothing of seperate means as many think. jesus said he was not greater than god or equal to in regards to the relationship and for mans own worships.
he was in unity with god in spirit, word, wisdom, works. nothing he did was of his own accord.
neither trinity believers or non trinity beleivers believe that jesus is GOD and should be worshiped as GOD. only the father is to be given that privilage.
this is so not important to our salvation from god. does not hinder it in any way.
worship only GOD as the almighty and folllow his will as shown by jesus and do it with your whole heart, mind.
god, jesus and the holy spirit have always been, they are eternal. never having a beginning for they are from the same source.
